anthom hello my nj friend

Posted by WANKA @ 21:47 on July 2, 2016

talking to nephew yesterday on the ratio for us to keep our eyes peeled going forward and look hopefully to 20:1 for conversion with 32:1 first stop. may take a year or two or 6 months to a year or so but my ‘feelings’ on the action possibilities is within the next couple of years. if so its conversion time to gold and ride the bull for all its worth…maybe 3500 maybe 5000 about the stock ratio is when cashing out to call it a day and reinvest in means of production stocks [dow]
would love to see it like 1980 on a 1:1 dow/gold. remember history rhymes. best of cheers. wj

re 12:26 How your future In The USA has been planned by TPTB Back In 1945

Posted by Mr.Copper @ 15:11 on July 2, 2016

The future is always a surprise, even for the master planners. when unintended consequences pop up. The Betting Markets had it all wrong re Brexit. I also hear the Betting Markets have Hillary as the winner. So now we know that one is wrong too.

The global situation is now too big and too complicated for the central planners to manage. So in everybody’s best interests, separate pockets of independence are better than one big global economy. (global socialism) (Corporate Greed)

The wealthy countries have to extricate themselves from the poor countries that have to be cut loose to fend for themselves. Like when Ron Reagan thru millions off welfare. Called it welfare to workfare.

The global establishment HATED pockets of independence. That’s why they always gave Iran, N. Korea, and Cuba a hard time. The same global gov’t that put the Shah of Iran in power, and told the world the USA did it, probably put Obama, Bush 11, Clinton, and Bush I in power.

FYI Various Currencies Versus Gold, Relative Strength Chart

Posted by Mr.Copper @ 12:11 on July 2, 2016

Handy little calculator to see which currencies are gaining or falling against Gold. On the 30 day time frame, it shows the weakness of the British Pound against gold up 20%.

The strongest currency the Japanese Yen, against gold up only 4.4%. All other currencies are fairly equal or stable in value with gold up about 10% in 30 days

http://www.kitco.com/gold_currency/index.html?currency=no&timePeriod=30d&flag=gold&otherChart=hardCur

On further clicking on other countries I see…
Brazilian Real strength with gold down (-.18%)
South Africa Rand strong with Gold up only 3.4%

Jesse sez … Silver Cup and Handles Project to a Price Target of $54

Silver Cup and Handles Project to a Price Target of $54

I know some of you have been projecting these nested ‘cup and handle’ formations on your own, because several readers have sent their examples to me and have asked for comments. My first comment is the most important and I wish you to take it to heart.

Projections such as this are not forecasts, because the chart formations in these examples for the most part have not been ‘activated’ and are therefore merely potential things, possibilities, lines on a page subject to a great many exogenous forces and variables, including human and institutional decisions.

Only the cup and handle ‘a’ on the chart below has been activated and achieved fairly quickly I might add.   We are now working on ‘b’ and it will not be activated unless the price of silver takes out 21.50 or so.

And then and only then if the price of silver in dollars holds that level with the kinds of retracements and pricing action one would expect to see as a confirmation of it can we say that the chart formation is active and ‘working.’  And even then it could fail.

And then after that we would be watching and considering scenarios c and d.

Again, this is not a forecast because it cannot be since it is not an active chart formation.   It is a set of possibilities based on the mechanics of supply and demand and price.  And as we all know too well, these various aspects of the market can be led down a dark alley of leverage and willfulness and strangled.

Let us bear in mind that at this time the central banks, too often in concert with their associated multinational banks and camp follower hedge funds are openly engaging in market actions to move prices for the short term where they will, and that these actions are not limited to interest rates.  I hope we have moved well past this debate.

The question is how long can the financial engineers keep doing this type of ‘pooling,’ as the have done in the past, with assets that have ties to physical reality that tends to trump debate?   And what happens when the pool dissipates and the markets revert to longer term relationships as they always seem to do.

I will not be posting this chart on a regular basis.  But as long term readers know I keep several of these scenario charts going in the background for my own pathfinding purposes.  And that is all it is. It is a sketch of realms still unknown.  But it is nice to keep sketching out a map of where one has been and where one might be heading.

So let us consider this a diverting look into what might be possible on a slow Friday afternoon rolling into a three day weekend on which we celebrate the sacrifices for freedom of those who have come before us.”

treefrog way much thanks for the tour…

that particular guitar?  i don’t know.  it’s called a “harp guitar,” and there are quite a few variations out there, mostly individually crafted one of a kind pieces of the lutier’s art.
