Thanks for nothing! 😉  I hadn’t followed the market today and sneaked a peak at the old portfolio after seeing your post.  Like an accident you can’t look away from, I guess.  Wow.  Between today and yesterday and whatever other down day(s) we’ve had recently, it’s positively breathtaking how bad it can be in such a short time.  It never seems to go up as quickly as it can drop.  What bothers me most is not that it’s permanent damage; I never lose faith in the final outcome, but the fact that I could have bought more at the lower prices (usually not long after I paid higher prices).  I know everyone here has had the same experience, but it never loses its sting.  Damn.
