BTW – I am the grumpy one today . Schwab ‘improved’ their site software this morning , so my Schwab App is not responding properly today of all days . Well it could have been worse – they could have ‘upgraded’ two days ago when my whole portfolio lost about 9% on the day . You and I were both buyers that day . I say a prayer of gratitude that I had un-impeded trading access that day , because things were changing substantially minute by minute .

None of that sissy stuff to dilate the flavor of those rich , robust , Arabica beans .

Ten miles you say ? Well….shouldn’t take you to long to run out and pick me a 50lb bag of those Mountain Grown beans then should it?

In a much-anticipated speech Friday at the central bank’s annual Jackson Hole summit, Fed Chair Janet Yellen voiced optimism about the economy and an expectation that interest rate hikes are ahead.

Speaking as the market wonders when the Fed will resume a policy tightening that began in December, Yellen issued some cautionary tones, but pointed to more increases on the horizon.

The Federal Open Market Committee “continues to anticipate that gradual increases in the federal funds rate will be appropriate over time to achieve and sustain employment and inflation near our statutory objectives,” Yellen said, according to prepared remarks.”

It was invented so you could scrap some grumpy ole cat off the top of your coffee. Coffee, was not invented to be a canvas for painting with cream, whipped cream, or food coloring. It was invented plain black, thats it, just black, and any normal grumpy person would not dare to mess with coffee in its original form.  No wonder Pele is so upset these days. I guess she is a little grumpy too. Oh yeah, thanks for the ruined coffee, and yeah,….have a nice day. 🙂

I had that collection for awhile as well, very nice. I ended up selling mine on Ebay after the run up a few years back. Good stuff.

Holding my breath for Janet at Jackson Hole, which I expect to be much about nothing but no doubt they will rally the SM and slam the pm’s as usual. You can already see the SM rally coming as they are hitting the VIX.

Bresch, born Heather Manchin, started at Mylan in 1992. She was hired after her father, then a West Virginia state senator, told then-CEO Mike Puskar that she needed a job.

What they ignore is that 30 leading Muslim countries are currently growing by 1.9% a year and, if that continues, will make up half the population of the planet by 2085. It’s all right there in the numbers. And the main difference between their growth and our decline is that they don’t abort their children and we do. My guess is that our problems with Islamic terrorism have just begun. By 2050, they’ll have enough people to cross any border they want..

I wasn’t aware of this. He asked.. Hillary claimed she deleted her emails because they were personal between her and Bill. Bill said he only emailed her two or three times. Which is it?
