Copy that well said. War, depression, money shortages etc etc. Simply put, we lost our independence in 1913, and nothing but one problem after the next. 1945 to 1975 were ACCIDENTLY, not intended by TPTB, were the BEST years for unskilled entry level laborers.
PS, when unskilled entry level laborers do good, all others do even BETTER. Now like today, unskilled entry level laborers are LOWER, making everyone above them lower too. Like a ladder sinking into the quick sand. Or a lower tide lowering all the boats.
