Loading ...I hate the moniker ‘drones’… it conjures up the image of a UAV ‘hellfire from the sky’ machine.
Originally, these little aerial cameras were called ‘quad-copters’ for the 4-blade ones. I think they would be useless over an active lava flow, however. In about three heartbeats they would turn into plastic rain falling from the sky, disappearing in little puffs on glowing lava. I’m thinking it would take titanium structure with NO plastic parts to survive an extended period in a broiler oven for testing.
