Loading ...National Park, on my bucket list. The last time I was there, in 2000, there was little opportunity to enjoy the scenery. That year I had been called to a hearing to appear as a witness on the subject of cumulative environmental effects assessment for Cardinal River’s Cheviot Coal Mine Project. Brule Lake was as beautiful then as it had been for centuries but the proposed mining project, rather than the surrounding scenery , was the focus during those hearings.
