We are one-third of one percent of the US population.  In Hawaiian, the word is ‘manini’…. a tiny little insignificant fish.

Hawaii is a democratic machine.  The republicans here have trouble fielding a candidate for many available offices.  Dems frequently go unopposed.

But I have seen numerous Trump stickers… and only one Hillary, on an obviously ‘party official’ car.  We have our own voting problems here… execution problems.  We use paper ballots that are tabbed by a scanner at the site.  Several large sites had only one scanner, causing delays in the tabulation.  The first printout from the state capital election office will be delayed.  It will be a long night here.   I am SO glad I’m not working this election!

Chris Matthews is not feeling a tingle down his leg , it is a tinkle dribbling down his leg instead .

trump’s numbers moving up as returns start coming in from the coal areas in the west.  i suspect the early clinton numbers were in large part philly returns.

As the camera swung her way , she was burrowed in her notes with a look of great consternation , then as she realized she was on camera , shifted to her confident , happy mask , but it was cracking …

Bitcoin just launched also, up $20 at $729 now.  Chinese are the prime movers there.

There were so many white heads and canes  & walkers they even put in place “Curbside voting” for those that couldent walk or wait in the lines !  They came out to the lines and verified your ID took in inside ,brought out your Ballet  ,had you sign in then  took your ballet inside and brought out to you a verification your vote was done ..all this for those that couldent walk !

The whites were prepared and turned out !

have made some changes I Think…..I posted earlier when I was at the voting place I saw 1 black voter and about 1000 whites and no hispanics …We have had a big influx of Hispanics in restaurant employment in the last two years ,but they are leaving and being replaced by black employees ,Ive noticed it for some time about a 70 % change over ….I suspect at the voting places..the Hispanics were to scared to attempt to vote as illegals and the Blacks decided not to vote at all !!  Trump let the word out he was going to watch for voter fraud and any illegals attempting to vote were going to jail if he got in .I think they got the message !  Now the Blacks are willing to take the jobs back from the Mexicans as they see Trump might win and the gravy train is over !

What a difference in attitude !
