You can only use that one time… unless you have a full orchard. What happened to ‘car parts’? Think creative. Maybe some heavy Doctor’s instruments?
My movers have been warned I have heavy cases of ‘old tools’ that I will not part with. They, in turn, warned me that the tariff rate on moving is determined by weight… at 70 cents per pound. Is it worth it? I think so.

Getting 8% isn’t so hard. What are Greek 30yrs at?
Soon the pension plans will be devouring city, county, and state budgets … with the Feds printing more for the Federal end. How safe are private cos pension plans? GM?

pensions need about 40 years of contributions earning 8% to pay promised benefits. Coupled with vote buying politicians raising unfunded payments and wild speculation to achieve 8%, very few pensions are fully funded. California public employees are going to get a shock only second to Illinois public employees. Liberal state pension plans are a myth. As the baby boomers retire in ever increasing numbers, pension plans will implode. Donald Trump inherited a sh!tstorm.

A reader writes that Soros
“is involved in destabilizing and overthrowing democratically elected governmenbts all over the world. He is not just a political and social threat to Russia and Ukraine, but evidently now to the USA and Western Europe, where he has been behind the mass influx of immigrants to destabilise those countries as well.
“It is clear that Trump and Putin have a lot of threats in common to deal with. The shadow government is currently rattled, but will strike back soon. After the recent violent events, Trump should join the Russian government and also call for the immediate arrest of Soros for his treasonous activities and confiscate all his assets in the West, appoint special prosecutors to deal with the neocon war criminals and break up the bought and paid for press and media monopolies that are the corrupt and mendacious whores of the oligarchy. Furthermore, he should also shut down the oligarchs’ Fed and create a national bank to issue debt- and interest-free US money to fund infrastructure and the rebuilding of the US economy. That would critically weaken the opposition and strengthen his position in dealing with the shadow government.
“These forces will be eternal enemies not just of him, but of the Western people. They represent a cancer that is killing the host. Not reconciliation, but deep and thorough cleaning is required to rout out this den of vipers.”
The audacity of George Soros is extraordinary. How does he get away with it?

newtogold – I feeling the same way. I think Trump’s policies will end up being inflationary, but I’m also wondering if this is a repeat of Reagan in 1980. Sure don’t like the action, and I don’t understand what the hell is going on.
Commish, Auandag – if Soros were to pull off an electoral coup like that this country would come unglued. Really scary stuff.

I don’t like the idea but let’s look at it from a different perspective. With an “insider” like Priebus, Trump will get the inside scoop of what he can expect to pass through the Repulsive Party in both House and Senate. He will give him a realistic appraisal . Now if I were Trump that is all I would use him for. My main advice would come from other sources of which he has many to choose from. This may be a concession to the “ruling party” to actually get things done. So what good is it if Trump proposes things but can’t get it through Congress. His only other option is the power of the pen that Obama has used so often to get his agenda through. Keep your friends close but your enemies closer. Trump needs to apply “snake wisdom” here. Use the “insiders” for his own purposes. That is what I see here. Now, if I am wrong, and Trump is a hand picked candidate, then all bets are off. We will have to see what the rest of his choices are. Praying that he is a true patriot and not another goober shill. Only time will tell.

I think it is time to go to cash and soon. Recovery is over for some time now. We are going to hit the pits of Zool (pre January levels) IMHO. Waiting for a possible relief rally on Tuesday. Half will go then . Maybe the whole crapola. I am tired of this roller coaster. Maybe come January or February, things may bottom out. TA says look out below. Tonight merely puts the exclamation point on it. Wealth preservation is my goal( sadly laughing to myself as I type, if only I had got out three years ago LOL). What little there is, is better then nearly nothing. Life is complicated enough without this cretin manipulation. Best of luck to all Tenters. DYODD.

Priebus has experience is why Im guessing, the otherI don’t know. I’m concerned with a interview with someone from Indiana who was taking about making cuts to SS. Trump said they worked for it he’s not cutting it the news said. He went on we’ll when he sees the spread sheet he will change his mind.
Maybe he should show him the spread sheets of gov workers pay and their pension plans plus one on the percentage of income they make over someone on SS and reorganize that.
Draining the swamp should include decreasing the size of Government and the income inequality between them and the working class. If he succeeds in term limits they should get a be pension decrease or one payment and that’s it. They should have to take any health plan including medical everyone has to take not one given to them by the tax payer.

So according to Bill Still there is still some very remote possibility that Hillary could steal the election since it is not voted on until December 19th. That’s what I was after. It’s not over till it’s over…..
What would happen if Soros threw about $250,000,000 at those 30 + electors to get them to change their electoral vote? Would they pay their $1000 fine and walk off with about $8 million each or would they stand on their principles?? Soros is old and can’t take his fortune with him so he might just try to do some outlandish thing like that. I’m not saying that will happen but it might show the temptation the electors and Soros might face under those circumstances…..and as I said, it ain’t over till it’s over…..and that’s December 19th according to Bill Still.
Ipso, I’m also no expert on Canadian elections but it’s a completely different system and not locked into defined set terms as it is in the US.
Thanks for the discussion guys and gals.

The electoral votes have already be counted. They can’t be changed now.
I suppose if it was a close election, which it wasn’t and there were many allegations of fraud, which there don’t appear to be, then perhaps it would be different.
Are elections often overturned in Canada?

What I would like to know is if Trump is definitely now the next president or if the electoral votes can still be changed for some reason to give the presidency to Hillary. Last I saw, the vote was 299.5 Trump and 238.5 Hillary. I assumed that count was electoral votes but I’m not certain. Can that count still change or is it set in concrete?? I’m just not up enough on US voting system to know. Thanks again!!
