Some years ago I was at a motivational speaker forum and one of the Speakers was a fill in for a NO SHOW where there were 1000 people waiting to hear the Speaker ….The President and CEO of our Franchise company met this guy in the Restaurant and he agreed to fill in for one of the NO SHOW speakers .This guy had a PHD in Psychology  and was currently running a restaurant in Chicago called “The BAkery ” his discribed in a great speach and  how he motivated his employees with all kinds of rewards and benefits for performance.Then at the end someone asked “what if all the benefits and bonuses dont work” them what ?..Well Chef LOUIE as he was known said “then just YELL at them to let them know your STILL the BOSS”.

I think thats what TRUMP did with the Media today ..They have to know your STILL the BOSS and they have to fear you if all the nice stuff dont work !

Its like I can read Trumps mind ,I know what his reaction is  going to be  …been there ,DONE THAT ! I experienced it all in the past 60 working years …Trump is right ! I have worked with some brilliant people ,Great minds do think alike !

Many I worked with went through WW2 ,the depression,and are not about to cow tow to some whinny  word processor snowflake that wont shape up ….My God ,you shoulda worked for MY FATHER !  He ran a plant where 600 women worked for him… My cousin worked for him a brief time ,He said one day “uncle Phill I love you ,but your a son of a Bitch to work for”…..Dad didnt cut you no slack just because you were his nephew or son !   He was a tough guy ! He was good to you ,fair,but expected your best performance and everybody knew it…and you knew it too !  No slackers in his plant !  HAHA I just love to watch the mealy mouths get chewed up and spit out by a real manager !

Understandable … but was it smart? Did he make enemies that he didn’t have to? I guess you’d have to know what really went on there to have a better idea.

1972 – Vietnam Era.  I went thru Army basic training with a few of these sociopath ‘wannabe thugs’ that were given the choice of jail or Army.  They found out their ways didn’t play with the Drill Instructors.  My platoon had an E5 Buck Sergeant, First Cavalry, fresh back from ‘Nam, the meanest devil there was.  He was determined he would send NO badly trained troops into combat and he was TOUGH!

About halfway thru Basic, I overheard one of the ‘bad boys’ whine that he would have chosen jail if he knew the Army was this tough!  “I coulda been sitting on my ass doing easy time!” he said.   They had no choice but to shape up.  None wanted to go to Leavenworth. (Army jail)

I thought it was an excellent solution… win/win second chance.

I gives them time to mature under military supervision ,it reduces the cost of incarceration ,I gives the military some raw material to make thugs into Men. It takes them out of domestic courts where Lawyers perpetuate recycling them because its good for the Lawyer business .Military Courts are very different from domestic courts. You have NO constitutional rights ,they own you ,you are Government PROPERTY  ,you are in an Admiralty Court .  Choose the Military and you get a 2nd chance !  Its a good deal for everybody ! Its better than filling up the JAILS with repeat offenders !

The dollar sure fooled me. TPTB started dropping it in October into November, from 99 to 97 and suddenly after Trump won it flies like a dot-com penny stock up to 101. Its either the speculators, or TPTB themselves…

That want Americans to get their last “taste” of cheap gasoline, and other cheap untaxed imports. At the same time, the so called trading partners can get THEIR last licks, last good “taste” of exporting into USA consumer markets, and absorbing our MONEY.

The gold miners just finished reporting their third-quarter results, which proved very impressive. While this small contrarian sector is now languishing in the doghouse following a brutal post-election selloff, the gold miners’ fundamentals are strengthening. Lower costs and higher gold prices led to surging operating cash flows and profits. The major gold miners are great fundamental bargains for contrarians today.

Gold-stock bulls are among the largest ever seen in all the markets. The flagship HUI gold-stock index skyrocketed 1664% higher over 10.8 years ending in September 2011, trouncing general-stock-market losses of 14% per the S&P 500. Even this year between mid-January and early August, the HUI soared 182% in just 6.5 months! Radical wealth-multiplying upside like that is well worth any psychological price.

And that is extreme volatility in gold stocks, which alternatively soar then collapse. After the election as futures speculators dumped gold hedges, the gold stocks suffered an incredible second mass-stopping event in less than 6 weeks. That took the HUI’s total massive correction to a colossal 36.6% in just 3.3 months! Provocatively mid-bull corrections of this magnitude have been suffered before in gold stocks.

Unfortunately most traders get caught up in the popular fear such enormous selloffs generate, so they flee gold stocks in disgust and don’t look back. That’s tragic, as the deeper the correction the greater the buying opportunity and coming upside as gold stocks inevitably rebound. I’ve always found digging into gold stocks’ fundamentals is a great way to overcome prevailing fear in order to buy low after a massive correction.

The Lowe’s Hardware store’s latest piece of hardware…a helpful robot they’re calling, LoweBot, it wanders the isles approaching people to help find stuff.

“Can I help you find something?” Lo Bot asks.

Kyle Nel, the executive director of Lowe’s Innovation Labs, said it won’t replace workers.

“Not at all. This was designed from the ground up to be an assistant to the store helper,” Nel said.
