Although ‘retired’, I am still a volunteer examiner for a professional society of broadcast engineers, and proctored an exam at another station across town last week. I had never been to this fairly new facility, so got the tour from the engineering boss. Behold, in the news room, I came across another reporter I had worked with at several other stations over the past lifetime. Told him I was there administering an engineering exam to certify an operator. He quipped: “Gee… the Society of Professional Journalists should give exams to certify journalists, also. Trouble is… there are no ‘real journalists’ left anymore!” I had to tell him… truthfully… that he was one of the last.
The Saudis are going to roil the world with their oil reserves. Number a lot smaller than generally thought, to make IPO more valuable. I also think that undertone is what is holding up the oil price currently in spite of inventory bloat.
Now for EQ prognostications. The Ring of Fire might need a western release after the NZ and Japan shakers. Chile seems to get it most times. The EQ swarms at the Salton Sea a month ago make me wonder if the west coast turn is near.
Or the 6.9 in Japan was a foreshock a couple of days prior to a really big one. That also happened with the 9.1 in 2011 off Fukushima.

I have always believed that Ross Perot although his heart was right DID get the ‘phone call’ and he backed out of the Presidential race. Ditto for a conservative black man Herman Cain. I have to think Trump was prepared from the get go for any threat or attempt to ‘persuade’ him, including threats against his life or his family.
I am sure many are those who would like to see Trump conveniently drop the investigation(s) into the Clintons and a host of others, on both sides of the aisle. I am sure he has been offered the advice of moving on with his agenda for the country and not focus on past misdeeds of others. Let and Let Live. But I also think that to drain the swamp, he cannot leave parts of the sewage left to remain or be overlooked. And with the Trump Win, I think others like WikiLeaks will begin to provide more evidence, more proof, of the depth of corruption and illegal activities that permeates the Elites and Globalists alike.
Trump has quite the task of getting things set up to take office. He needs to stay focused on that, but once sworn in,….I don’t think we have heard the last of the Clinton Investigations. Just my opinion.

Trump Asks Media The One Thing They Can’t Do
Would have loved to have been at that meeting Trump held with the Press. According to one report I read someone basically asked Trump, after he railed at them, “What do you want us to do?” He replied, ” Tell The Truth!”.
That would mean they would have to return to the old ways of journalism. Investigation and reporting of Facts, not contriving up stories to fit their agenda. I am not sure they know how to do journalism, fair and balanced, and reporting the Truth? Guess we will watch and see if the news business is open to such a radical piece of advice.
Somehow, I think their arrogance will blind them to their faults. And besides, the Media is used to making Kings, not taking advice from them. We’ll see ?

………….when Trump got elected he received “the phone call” telling him what he could or could not do if he wanted to “make America great again” and keep himself and his family safe while doing it. One of the conditions was “leave Hillary alone”. I don’t doubt that my friend is right!

Not sleeping late, and not on Island time either. Been out (sniff) gathering up (cough) the ingredients for (sneeze) Grannies Cold Elixer. Got my annual change of the seasons scratchy itchy throat with watery eyes thing going. The hot coffee and Nyquil helping until I can brew up a batch of cure.
Take one possum and throw it in the slow cooker with 3-4 onions, 6-7 cloves of garlic, and a quart of North Georgia Moonshine. Let it cook down for about 8-10 hours and then throw the possum out for the dog, and drink the finest all purpose heal anything that aches ya drink known to mankind. A coffee chaser is good idea too if it includes some of the coffee grounds to give it some texture.
If only my mother had listened to the doctor when I was 8-9 years old and had let him remove those tonsils that swell up the size of lemons about this time of the year. Course, Moggy setting fire to half of North Georgia aint helping none either. Been trying to see through a haze and ignore the smell of smoke for over a week now. They had a ‘Code Red’ for air quality in Atlanta the other day which I think is appropriate due to the fact that my eyes are exactly that color . The preacher on Sunday must have thought he was preaching extra good the way I kept sniffing, and using tissue to wipe blurry red eyes. Yeah, he must have thought he found my ‘guilty spot’ and even went ten minutes past lunch time he was on such a roll. Even throwed in an extra verse of a hymn at the closing hoping I would come down front and repent of whatever sins I was burdened with. He had tried so hard I didn’t have the heart to tell him it wasn’t from the conviction of his preaching but the fire in the mountains that was vexing my soul.
The coffee will hold me until the slow cooker says its done. Thanks, Farmboy

Geez, isn’t that the next “new” master plan?? Mentioned by the new PTB spokesperson Donald Trump? I did a quick google research re Keynesian Economics, and there was absolutely no mention of the gold confiscation of 1934? So its not ONLY the media we can’t trust.
The Gold confiscation from US citizens in 1934 enabled TPTB to “lower taxes and infrastructure spending”. Also, no mention that the new Federal Reserve created in 1913, that increased money supply, inflationary boom, roaring twenties, and caused the 1929 crash and deflationary depression.
I’m thinking it’s possible TPTB manipulated Gold lower, and have been buying Gold with new paper or digital methods, (like the bailouts) and are stealthily taking in Gold for a new round of inflation.
This lot need some tough love from Wanka….when he gets over his gals loss.
