Sure was a whole lot easier back in 2000-04. You just threw a dart at the PM stock board, bought it, and held it. No fuss, no muss, and the money just piled up. Buy em and Hold em.
Getting back into the market this year has been a heck of a challenge. I have a small stake and preservation is first and foremost. I cant afford to ride them down like the old days. So learning to be a bit more disciplined, a bit more nimble if a trade goes against me. Takes a lot more work when you get to the game late. Looking forward to the day when the PM’s take off for a serious, and sustained rally so I can sit in the club car and enjoy the ride. My guess is, 2017 may be that kind of year.
