This is the morning of Alborada, Dec. 16 : You are awakened at 6 am by a 4 piece band in the street inviting folks to join a procession marching around the little street within the compound . After making the circle a couple of times , a small breakfast of empanadas and hot chocolate is served . That evening and each evening until Christmas a half hour layman religious service is put on in the clubhouse , followed by more goodies , such as bunelos ( think donut holes ) and nattilla ( brown sugar , milk , cinnamon and cloves , cooked and stirred for hours until about the consistency of thick grits ) .

The general stocks like Dow etc, and low priced bullions and PMs, are acting like all the future “prosperity” is already here. Nobody needs or wants Gold and Silver. (time to buy)Something big is going to happen first before the alleged prosperity is obvious.

If we are not at bottom today, it won’t be too much longer. This nonsense dopey/dollar “trend” that started with a higher Dollar in 2014, then more so with Brexit back in October, and Trump in November, has gone on way too long.

Advantage to living in a small town. You get to do a little shopping downtown and hear a few students playing Christmas songs in the square.

The impromptu concert did have to pause for a minute while the ‘horn section’ came rolling through the middle of town in the form of a Georgia Southern Train passing the old railway depot which is now a restaurant. Cheers to the small towns that still celebrate a Merry Christmas. Seems the PM’s want to join in the festivities this afternoon !
