Richmont Mines Jumps 11% After Island Gold Mine Reserves Soar 34% in 2016

01:19 PM EST, 01/31/2017 (MT Newswires) — Richmont Mines (RIC) is up 11% after the company said 2016 mineral reserves at the Island Gold Mine in Ontario rising by 34% to 752,000 oz. of gold at an 11% higher grade of 9.17 grams/ton.
It said the successful 2016 drilling campaign at the Island Gold Mine contributed to a significant increase in 2016 Mineral Reserves and Resources.
Inferred resources of 995,700 gold ounces was a 30% increase over 2015, at a 20% higher grade of 10.18 g/t, at an average discovery cost of less than $35 per ounce.
