I’m not in Southern Cal but have one brother left from there who stayed, rest left the state years ago. He’s higher up the hill though. Still they can get strong winds and flash floods in some areas. I see Sylmar has a shelter and it also has a Dam. I stood under it once as a teen in weather like that since I couldn’t surf next best thing ride the Rapids from the run off. Saw how fast it could erode and got deep fast with sides caving in getting wider and wider. After seeing a crack behind me and stepping over it soon caved in too,  like a scout for others decided too dangerous lol The soup above the water was 3-5 or more feet in some areas and moving so fast tbe ground was vibrating. They’ll need to taking things not nailed down out like a hurricane if bad as projected.

That right there is a hint. They know something is going to happen. And the most logical problem has to be a global reserve currency problem. And or a non performing loans problem leading to another crash in real estate values. Real estate has replaced savings accounts. Try to imagine your “savings account” “balance” getting smaller, and its NOT FDIC insured.

Something big has to happen. The first eye wall of the storm made landfall in 2008. Its the second eye wall coming of the 100 year diameter storm.

Next Thursday, Feb. 23, is Futures Expiry for the PM’s. You know they are going to try and knock em down, perhaps start working on em today since Monday is a holiday??

Eased into some JDST this morning, probably add more on Tuesday, and hope the banksters are true to form by Thursday. Course, Trump could Tweeter something and all market bets are off. LOL

Well that seems to be holding true for the SM, remains to be seen for the pm market. So far we’re holding up pretty well considering some minor USD strength which seems to be offset by some falling rates…

Sold my GG calls yesterday for a 30% gain – which wasn’t much in dollars but a gain none the less. Bought some SLW calls with the proceeds.

The boys re sitting on the usual suspects to keep the HUI capped – NEM, GFI, etc…

So the HUI is sitting right at the 200 DMA of 220.71 and we’ve been trying to bust through for the last two weeks.

Doesn’t look like the metals have enough energy to help the shares do it today but either we bust it here soon or head back to 200 HUI.

Doubt that will happen. There are too many Hispanics and other minorities who immigrated in Calif. Particularly Southern Calif.
