I could drop them off at the lake in the morning and come back to the house to do a little trading. But being cats, I doubt they would ever bring any fish home for dinner. But I hear cats are really smart, so maybe I could train em to sit at the keyboard? 🙂

I have empathy for you, those are clearly a couple of very difficult choices, I hope you don’t have to wrestle with things like that on a daily basis. 🙂

I guess this steady selling will probably persist until the Fed raises rates, seems that what it has done for the last couple of hikes. Sell into it, stabilize, regain upward momentum. Wash, rinse, repeat.

HUI low was 99 on Jan 19th 2016, HUI now at 186 up a very nice 88% over 14 months. Unfortunately we are 35% off that crazy high, of 286 on Aug 4th 2016. This dip we’re in should have ended last week. This is getting boring. Hopefully everybody has dry powder for the next leg up.

or going to check out the Christmas Trees. I learned yesterday where this years crop of used Christmas Trees are buried in the lake. To watch our PM’s struggle with the head winds, or watch the struggle of a bass stretching my line….? I need two of me. 🙂

Would-be acquirers who suffered from too-rapid or ill-timed expansion say they will largely be returning to their traditional targets: so-called juniors, who take on the risk of exploring and developing projects in the hopes of hooking up with a larger investor.

North Korea, Malaysia ban each other’s citizens from leaving

KUALA LUMPUR, Malaysia (AP) — North Korea closed its borders Tuesday to Malaysians who want to leave the country, spurring Malaysia to issue a retaliatory order and drawing hundreds of ordinary people into an increasingly bitter diplomatic battle over the killing of an exiled member of North Korea’s ruling family.

Malaysian Prime Minister Najib Razak denounced North Korea’s order as a violation of international law, calling it “an abhorrent act, effectively holding our citizens hostage.” Police have been ordered to stop North Koreans from leaving Malaysia “until we are assured of the safety and security of all Malaysians in North Korea,” Najib said in a statement.

The sudden diplomatic escalation came more than two weeks after Kim Jong Nam, the long-exiled half brother of North Korea’s ruler, was killed in a poison attack at the Kuala Lumpur airport.

Pretty strong again. Tough for our metals to rise in the face of such strength. Miners trying to find a bottom, hoping the HUI still wants to fight to hold that 185 level but the scum may have other ideas.

Hopefully we can get the USD to roll over a little today.
