GDX seller is still at it, in v large size and with AU down potentially 9 days running…no sane person would do that.
Seller offering 10 or 20 times the bid Vol, at times….madness.

I haven’t entered the market in years. Physical only. (Bitcoins are on my physical thumb drive). The marketplace has a big sign over the door that most people don’t see:
“Abandon Hope, all ye who enter here”
I keep telling Farmboy that he would have a lot more free time for the important things in life if he didn’t have to babysit his market account. Might cut back on his coffee bill, too. 🙂
Wow! A stuck “Empire Builder”. At least they had enough fuel to keep the engines powered and the heat on. I bet the BNSF track crews caught hell for not keeping the line open, but when the wind howls up north in a dry snow, the drifts will close in right behind your plow.
In January 1952 the Union Pacific “City of San Francisco” got stuck in the deep drifts of Donner Pass over the Sierra Nevada mountains. They lost power to the train after awhile and passengers were huddled with blankets for three days before having to hike thru the snow to be rescued from a nearby highway that had to be cleared also.

The train was stuck for a total of six days, and even the plows were getting stuck while trying to free the train. This rotary snowblower was instrumental in digging out the train:

And now you know why they do all this work:

“My bird likes to cuddle up under my shirt, too”
Cute … and he can give you comfort when times are tough … like most of the time in the PM market.
Hey you really nailed the word benchmark lol Notice the girls didn’t see that paddle too much. They would rather watch and learn. That can be traumatic enough. Besides the teachers probably knew they’d never hear the end of it if they did and some might of got kicked in the shins or slapped on the side of the head. These days guess you would of got off easy Cuz now theyd probably hit you with a fine for selling without a permit. Good idea though, they should of gave you extra credit for entrapenuer ship. Then turn around and steal you idea. I think Id have to get even by under bidding them for ripping off the kids allowance money. That’s how the gov sees our money and why they hate paper. Maybe if we’re lucky well get enough allowance money to take the kids somewhere once in awhile if theirs something in it for them but they want the rest. Isn’t that nice of them.
And being warm blooded, you can bet those snakes will cuddle up real close to you, too!
My bird likes to cuddle up under my shirt, too. But he doesn’t have a venomous beak, at least.
Love the errant headline: “Hawaii to be the first Country…”
That will fuel the ‘sovereignty’ natives here. Hawaii is and has been since inception a Democratic Machine state. People here don’t think… they just toe the party line.
It’s not like we have hordes of muslim invaders tourists supporting our economy, anyway.
As a gaitway to the rest of the country along with Arizona. Hawaii to be the first country to sue Trump for the new “ban for Muslims”!

Can’t say I blame Farmboy for exiting JNUG. I’ll probably do the same here today sometime just because the jobs report is tomorrow and they love to slaughter pm’s. Pretty much a breakeven but a waste of $14 in commissions.
Maddog said it, 9 straight down days and it could only happen in the pm market, if fact it’s the only market where it happens on a routine basis. I see nothing that will change. certainly not Trump and his administration.
I’d like to think the shares are forecasting a move higher in the metals but somehow I think they’re probably consolidating for the next move down – that would be par for the course.
Silver has gone from looking great to looking like crap. Unbelievable.
thanks for that bit of news. I am a long time CEF holder and have been disappointed with CEF’s performance compared to the Sprott products. I have spoken to CEF about this and they are quite arrogant about their position.
Personally, until I hear a convincing case against Sprott, I am hoping he wins.
Hi all, I don’t know if this is news to you, but it is to me, I’ve got CEF and the Sprott funds in my IRA.

Stings almost as much as when in the 8th grade I got busted for selling contraband in school and was sent down to see Coach who acquainted me with his Benchmark Paddle, and extra bleacher laps after practice.
The contraband I was selling to fellow students? Bubble gum and candy bars. LOL Had couple grocery bags full stuffed in my locker. Twenty years after, the schools opened up concession stands selling the same stuff. Maybe if I had offered to split the profits with the school….? 🙂
The pros call them benchmarks so Ill use it here for a reference. It’s moved into bench mark numbers. If it goes below present now we’re going lower so batten the hatches if it does. lol Another time to keep a eye on it. For some reason I’m not too confident it will bounce for real anyways yet.
Oh well, for about the first hour I thought we might bounce a little today. Back to the drawing board, just with a little less green in the trading account. No cigar today. 🙁
Turn Around Thursday means back slowly outta of the casino with your back to the swinging doors.

From Zillow.com, and these things are all over the place. About 2 for every 1 that is for sale. “Banks” keep them off the market for 4-5 years, to avoid surplus inventory.

Clif High’s Webbot: CHAOS Starts Mid March
http://www.silverdoctors.com/silver/silver-news/clif-highs-webbot-chaos-starts-mid-march/#more-76864
In response to President Trump’s statement accusing his predecessor, Barack Obama, of wiretapping him, the Obama team had this to say:
“A cardinal rule of the Obama administration was that no White House official ever interfered with any independent investigation led by the Department of Justice,” Kevin Lewis said in a statement early Saturday afternoon. “As part of that practice, neither President Obama nor any White House official ever ordered surveillance on any US citizen. Any suggestion otherwise is simply false.”
In short, the phraseology makes it almost certain that the wiretap request on Trump Tower was issued by former Obama appointee, ally and former Attorney General, Loretta Lynch. It is certainly NOT business as usual for a political appointee to request a wiretap on an opposing campaign. Making it even more troubling, is that Obama would have had to know about it, regardless of his denials. Indeed, the way his current denial is phrased clearly indicates knowledge.
The Battle wages….guess we will see if the banksters can step hard enough on gold and silver to hold em back.
That’s perfect for praying to The Rattlesnake God!
IAMGOLD (TSX:IMG) is taking a further step towards diversifying its power needs into renewable energy, with a plan to install a 15-megawatt-peak (MWp) solar power plant at its Essakane mine in Burkina Faso.
Announced yesterday, the Toronto-based company has signed a power purchase agreement to begin developing the solar plant at the gold mine, located about 330 kilometres northeast of the Burkinabe capital city, Ouagadougou. The 15-year deal is between IAMGOLD Essakane SA, EREN Renewable Energy SA, AREN ENERGY (PTY) Ltd. and Essakane Solar SAS.
The mine is 90% owned by IAMGOLD and 10% by the Burkina Faso government. It produces about 400,000 gold ounces a year.
The solar plant, expected to be commissioned by the end of 2017, would be operated by Essakane Solar SAS. Electricity produced from it will be sold to IAMGOLD Essakane SA.
