I love to look for inflation in recognizable areas, like candy for instance. I’ve been buying Cadbury Creme Egg’s since the 1980’s. Here we used to have specialty real imported chocolate, not American fake chocolate that it is now. I remember 5 eggs for a $1, now they’re 4 eggs for $3 cheapest I’ve seen this year. That’s an 375% increase in price in 30 years. So consider if the eggs we’re imported chocolate. I understand there’s a world’s shortfall in chocolate too, but interesting to keep an eye on.
So I still like and believe in Gold and Silver, I just get pissed with the day to day trading antics were constantly subjected to.
