Good Morning Equis,
I have limited time to respond but my comment is that this year is the highest runoff I can recall in the last 20 years, and if not for a little advanced warning and sandbagging we would have much more flooding in the Okanagan that normal. Yesterday I traveled from home to Kamloops via the connector to Merrit, then old Hwy 5A to help a friend pick up some cattle, and there were numerous places where (so far) sandbagging has saved many places on highways and backroads. Now I see warmer temperatures heading our way so all I can say is “it ain’t over til it’s over”. Already lotsa flooding and damage along the way!!
