I have a lot of respect for Elon Musk. People like that come along rarely. Having said that … his car company is massively overvalued and could take quite a stumble.

Yes building was refurbed weeks ago and clad is some kind of new insulation as it was a v cold building originally…..of note most London Apartment blocks have no decent or ANY fire escapes…I lived in a 4 floor one for years…no way out other than jumping and that goes for most !!!!!

Probably a good play with the DSLV at the open, as I expect the usual drift into the Fed announcement. I’d be cautious after that though and might sell into the drift beforehand. I could see a hike with dovish language smashing the USD, but what the he’ll do I know?
Not sure I agree that the shooting is why pm’s bounced. Think it had more to do with weak retail sales and inflation numbers. USD has been weak ever since.
As always We’ll see.

That’s a no brainer to me, possibly a no brainer for TPTB but there is a financial news black out on the reason…..
The entire workforce in under paid. Simply be cause TPTB (big business) refused since 1970 neglected to raise the minimum wage lock step with inflation. The lower low, lowers the highs too. Opposite of a rising tide raising all boats. Lower tide lowering all boats.
That was the businessman’s main objective starting in the 1970s. You could even blame their “partner” the United States labor Dept, for CONSTANTLY under reporting 7.5% inflation as 2% inflation.

Very interesting ideas! You may be onto to something. They may see Bitcoin as a bigger threat than gold. I’ve been struggling with who is behind the Bitcoin and what it’s true purpose is. The rise in Bitcoin popularity may cause TPTB to take some pressure off PM’s. Might also influence the need to raise interest rates. We’ll see.

Good Morning Folks ! Here’s My Trade For Today
Will be buying DSLV at open. Here is my take. Pm’s shot up upon news of the GOP shooting. I guessing by end of day they will beat the PM’s back down. Kinda risky, but I think the ‘shooting’ story will not prop up the metals for very long. And then its back to normal business as far as the PM’s are concerned.
Worth noting is how folks dump the dollar and flee to metals in times of fear and uncertainity. As moggy says, have been for 5,000 years.
And buygold, I AGREE 100%. Willing to bet this shooting incident should be laid directly at the Demoncrats and media’s feet. Prepare for another onslaught on the Second Amendment.
