I was talking to an interstate truck driver, just yesterday. During the conversation he tells me he used to live in Florida. He proceeds to tell me now lives in New Jersey, Wankas home state. He hated it down there. He said.
You feel like you are living in STEAM, you can’t even breath, the air is so thick. You can’t do anything. The sweat just rolls off you. I know what he means because here on Long Island it sometimes gets that way. Its stifling.
I myself can’t take humidity at all. 70 degrees with humidity, I’m suffering. 70 degrees with a dry front down from Canada its just beautiful. Clear air dark blue sky. I only went to Fla twice in my lifetime. I hated also.
It was October no less. When I got out of my air conditioned Chevy van, I thought I would die. The other time in was June, same thing. Hot as hell, I could not handle that useless ugly humid weather Muggy and buggy. I said to myself, it was not even July or August yet, the hottest months. I would never live there for free. I can’t take it.
I’m wondering if Wanka tried a few weeks in Arizona might help, and if so, rent something for a while and see how it goes.
