“Good: Nice enough when you buy, but that changes when you try to sell…. Bad: In 2008 I bought 3 gold collectors coins from ITM trading. I would like to sell the coins now and have been trying to liquidate them through ITM. However, when I call to speak with a representative about selling, they claim to not be able to get price estimates for the coins.
Furthermore, they are full of unprofessional, extremely rude and snarky comments peddling gloom and doom stories about the impending financial collapse.. Improvements: ITM’s website says selling is an easy process. But it is not! Their service is HORRIBLE, and it makes me suspicious of their overall business practices since they won’t buy back what they sell – even though they claim they will right on their website and supporting documentation.
I get the feeling they are coached to behave this way in order to dissuade customers from selling. It certainly is a different treatment than when you are looking to buy from them.. Other: Beware when you try to sell your coins. You’ll get a lot of attitude and unprofessional comments. I’m filing a complaint with the Phoenix BBB..”
