I commented on this earlier and was unable to stay with conversation. Im in southeast texas and the water is still 5′ deep in our area from hurricane harvey We dont make the news. Its rural compared to Houston. The story caught my eye as i am displaced from home for first time in my life. So understand im a bit disgusted over such. There is no room for them here. People here help each other. If the story is true, and if they donated 500$, they did it as token effort just to claim they helped.

It keeps getting worse on this cop. Turns out he was trained to draw the blood and wanted to do it. I fear he would of tainted the blood draw to cause further harm to the victim to get them off the hook for causing the accident.
Further he’s also a ambulance driver and threaten the hospital saying he’s gonna only send the bad patients. Meaning he was going to decide who goes to which hospital which is not his decision. Basically he was threatening more harm to others. All and all he should be locked up for assaulting the nurse and mayhem in short. Because of ongoing issues it is a felony to assault a nurse. So let’s see how they handle it. I guess that will depend on how much media is involved but getting around the medical profession fast.

“reward” Yes I think that makes much more sense. Paying extortion money to criminals is not good policy!
Have a great weekend everyone!

Bought a little AG and GG, WTF? Might as well right?
COT Report was ugly

Nurse : I found out the driver who was injured was a result of a high speed chase with police with the guy who hit him. So it gets worse. He was harassing the patient because the man could sue him as a result of the have not regarding the safety of other drivers. Then harassed the nurse. Hope they both sue. It doesn’t reflect on all officers but this was criminal.
The Sacramento thing might work better if they put a reward on their heads and get them off the streets. They are in south Sac where many came up from LA years ago then started trouble there plus migrants. A place people who are aware avoid.

That cop had no concern for the victim was just looking to see if he could put a notch in his belt. What if just the added loss of a few drops of blood would have killed him and in a small child not the case even a ounce could kill. The nurse was protecting the patient who could not speak for himself. Not to say there aren’t drunk drivers out there but it wasn’t to my understanding the victims fault so there was no cause to subject him and they probably knew it so didn’t try for a warrant. They just thought they could bully the nurse into it by using their badge unfitting for a officer to satisfy their own curiosity. So brown shirt would fit.

“update his resume” Yeah just add “thug” onto his qualifications.
Maybe he could apply in the Philippines … I think just about anything goes there. 🙂

Lots of stressed out people around no doubt about that … and it’s only going to get worse as the economy runs into problems.

“five bagger” Very nice! 🙂

That cop would make a good brownshirt in Germany 1934.

can you help that cop update his resume?

@Richard
TPTB (obnoxious diabolical a’holes) always favored the rich, claiming “trickle down (from the top) economics”.
In reality its been trickle up, which explains the whole situation. The poor are poorer, and can’t afford to trickle up anymore. Hence liar loans and foreclosures, and supper low rates. All to maintain trickle up.
This is real simple shit imo. This is why all the media talk of lagging wages. Only the “rich” can help that, they don’t want to. So its now survival of the richest. They are fighting against each other now. Kind of like oil producers that don’t want to volunteer lower production.
“You go first than I’ll go” maybe. 🙂
Took a little off the table
Sold 20% of my KL, which is a 5 bagger, and 20% of AXU on a double.
Both RSI’s are above 80, will look to re-deploy in something cheaper or on a pullback.
There’s still a lot of cheap shares that haven’t participated like AG, WPM, EXK, GG etc. I have to think if this move in the metals is real some of these underperformers are going to start playing catch up.
Ideas are most welcome…

If the cops even try to violate patients privacy rights they can be subject not only to internal affairs although useless most the time but a fine through Hippa privacy acts which has different levels of fines. In the case of knowingly and forcibly trying to get information and in this case interfering with the dutys of medical professionals to get it the fine could be about 450 thousand to each cop involved in trying to force the information. That’s not to mention false improsonment of the nurse and law suit by both her and the patient. Even in implied consent the cop has to have a credible reason and the person has a right to refuse. Utah laws have changed about that anyway. It’s really reckless disregard of this cop trying to do this to a seriously injured patient with the excuse it was to prove his innocence ” which was just a excuse” when he wasn’t the one who caused the accident.
Thanks Moggy !

The nurse was arrested because she refused to illegally take blood for the cop. She refused to break the law. That cop is going to be fired and the city may be sued!
ipso – Hope That Hospital Stands By That Nurse
If that was a felony arrest chances are the state pulled her nursing license and now she is out of a job. As for Detective Jeff “Moron” Payne may your life now become more miserable than hers.
