I remember in 2000 when GATA’s analysis reasoned that there was about 4 years supply left for manipulation of PM prices. Here we are 17 years later and there seems to be no bottom of the supply for manipulation.
McEwen shares tank after $40m stock offer
Canadian precious metals producer McEwen Mining (TSX, NYSE:MUX) announced after the close on Monday, bought deal financing for its acquisition of the Black Fox mining complex in northern Ontario.
According to a statement McEwen agreed to sell 18m shares of its common stock and warrants to purchase up to 9m shares of its common stock at a price of $2.25 per share and associated one-half common stock warrant for gross proceeds of $40.5 million. The warrants will have a term of 53 weeks and an exercise price of $2.70 per whole share. The underwriters also have a 30-day option to buy an additional 2.7m shares and 1.35m warrants.

Good morning all
Thanks to all for the thoughts and prayers for myself and others impacted by these hurricanes. We were slammed by Rita in 2005. Caused heavy damage in my area. We lost most of our old beautiful oaks that had been part of our home stead since my people bought the place in late 1890’s. We cleaned up and rebuilt shop and barns. Homes come thru okay with minor damage. Then Ike in 2008. Major flood event for southeast Texas. My home and my families here all came thru Ike with minimal damages. We got thru it. Now Harvey, this kicked me and all my family hard. All 4 homes gutted to studs and drying. All other homes in the immediate area are in same condition. Many homes in Orange county damaged heavily. We don’t make the news. We work and we help each other and we survive. The American way. It’s the same or at least similar mindset that creates a country from scratch. One does what he must to keep going. Or, you could whine and cry about fema not being visible. That makes the news. As for me and my bunch, we work. Just thought id share a bit with friends. I do need to offer some thought on gold I reckon. I’m with Buygold, just a couple more months!

That is my bet for the week. They have smashed especially hard the last week. Course the rebound won’t be as fast as the smash, but we should rebound a little.
One thing seems sure, these pm shares aren’t forecasting $1400 anytime soon.

Plus of course GS already knows what they will say, as they wrote the statement.
