Could be someone reading the Rig, as the way PM’s have been hit would suggest a bullish Fed announcement, they tend to smash hard when they know they will have to announce bullish data/comments…that way headline numbers are always muted ie Gold at 1340 is a nothing but at 1400 is big news etc.
Plus of course GS already knows what they will say, as they wrote the statement.
