I have no conceptual problem at all to accept that there has been very dramatic recent melting of ground ice in land areas surrounding Arctic marine waters (recall the recent posting on this forum about ground ice melting on Pelly Island bordering the Beaufort Sea) but at the same time accepting the logic and the data evidence of Dilley’s cycle analyses which form his basis for expecting significant global cooling not long in the future and likely already underway. I am not a climatologist but I think I have had enough exposure to scientific investigation to accept that today’s evidence of recent accelerated melting of ground ice is not a reason to rule out cyclical trends toward global cooling. I would not likely have seen Dilley’s presentation if you had not posted it, so thank you for alerting us to it. Cheers. Equiz
