where saltwater expansion at the edges of Chesapeake Bay is having a negative effect on their property values, to hear that it is likely deep-seated geothermal events within the earth’s core that are helping to melt the ice stored above sea level in Greenland. It seems to me like there is little choice but to adapt to changes that will be brought about by geothermal heat fluxes when those heat fluxes happen to be in locations of ancient ice on the earth’s surface.
