But the SM has now jumped the shark. Was just listening to the BBC 5 pm news and they referred to that Jenner thing knocking 8 % off Snap, due to its tweet !!!!!!

Snap of course has no intention of actually making any money ever, according to its founder !!!!!!

there’s a pattern developing here:
a) local cops called 39 times – no result.
b) fbi “drops the ball” –TWICE!
c) school resource officer runs and hides.

it looks like more than failure. it looks like refusal to act – refusal to do their jobs.

is someone telling all these cops to STAND DOWN? …or are they all incompetent cowards?

the string of coincidences is getting pretty long.

Re Brexit

That is wishfull thinking inside the Westminster Bubble, outside the position has hardened. The majority for leaving is much larger. Lots of Remain voters, ones who were unsure, or bullied or just worried are comming out as solid Brexiteers now.

The vast majority voted out, to regain our sovereignity and give a damn if it makes us poorer, that is why nothing scares them and fear is all the Remoaners have. Everything that has happened since has only confirmed those views.

As for Soros, a huge chunk of Brits would string him up.

May either delivers a good deal, or she will be booted out and replaced by a solid Brexiteer…

Chance of halting Brexit now close to 50:50, says leading campaigner

LONDON (Reuters) – Opponents of Britain’s exit from the European Union are preparing a major campaign they say now has close to a 50:50 chance of stopping Brexit by blocking Prime Minister Theresa May’s divorce deal, a leading pro-EU campaigner said.

With Britain scheduled to leave the EU in March 2019, opponents of Brexit are exploring various ways to stop what they say is Britain’s biggest mistake since World War Two.

‘Best for Britain’, a campaign group which received a 400,000 pound donation from billionaire financier George Soros last year, hopes to convince lawmakers in the 650-seat parliament to block the withdrawal deal May aims to bring back from Brussels in October.

“Brexit can be stopped if people want it to be stopped,” the group’s chief executive officer, Eloise Todd, told Reuters in the basement of a former Victorian bakery in central London. “It is absolutely not over yet.”

That kind of talk is not blasphemy here, we talk about the paper markets all the time.

Essentially what you’re saying is as long as the paper/derivative markets exist, there’s no reason to own the metals right?

I really don’t know which, one thing for sure – no one in Trump’s administration will ever challenge the banksters.

Here’s an African miner that’s doing just fine. I believe they’re in Senegal.

Now you got it.

The effers will never let PM’s out of the bag voluntarily.

COMEX is already a fiat only market but still prices remain under control.

And the speculators help them by always betting bullish because they are less endowed greedy bastards too.

But hey — that kind of talk around here is blasphemy right?

So load the boat — back up the truck — to da moon.

Just don’t buy any of that paper derivatives crap because the house will never pay even if you guess right.

Gee Clive should stop while he’s ahead – THAT IS THE FACT OF THE MATTER

That’s why his base has taken 5 effing years to form and could take another 5. That’s also why he’s been fooled by his charts and made false breakout calls so many times.

Beautiful historic towns in Europe turning into no go zones. A whole town in Italy about abandoned because of illegal African migrants. I’ve seen multi pictures of the coming in on boats like here comes trouble and it sure has. Election in March a couple promising to deport. Hope they do. Even other educated Africans don’t want them.

That’s one on us lol That’s another thing. If you went anywhere you had to hitch the wagon plus take care of horses.
I never asked some questions to the ones born in the late 1800s about that. I wondered where they got the ice and what they did of no ice just how did they salt the food or whatever. Do you know?
One lady must have rode a buggy a lot because her shoulders had effects from
it in her elder years.
I don’t remember exactly what the milk man drove I think it was a truck and milk in back he delivered in glass bottles we ” kids” had to be careful not to break. I think the bread and donut was all in one kind mad like a van that opened in the back. My grandma and great aunts didn’t use them they made there own pastries like cream puffs and eclairs better than the donuts.
My aunt great aunt told me she was gonna ” learn” me how to make someday. One of my great aunts had her own cows then but in farm land don’t think there was deliveries. Some though I should of been born in that era because I was so stuck on it all the time wanting to know how it was all the time.
It was funny I saw a picture of a old washer on FB with the rollers and all the millennial gen had no clue what it was. My oldest daughter made a “guess” it was a washer.

Mr. Copper and Goldie – I am probably older than the two of you

Posted by Alex Valdor @ 21:56 on February 22, 2018

But I remember milk , bread and ice being delivered by horse drawn wagons . The delivery man could hop off with a ‘hod’ of milk or bread , and make several deliveries on both sides of the street , then whistle , and the horse would bring the wagon to him . Occasionally there would be a horse with a mind of its own that would start getting ahead of the driver . In that case the driver would drop a large weight – about a foot in diameter and about 6 inches thick onto the pavement , attached to the wagon with a long leather strap . That was an anchor for the horse .
When I was about 4 or 5 , the electrical grid in town was converted from 25 Hz to the current standard 60 Hz , so there was about a two year period when your family fridge became an ice box until the utility company could change out the compressor motors for everyone . The ice man would make deliveries from another horse drawn wagon every other day , leaving a block of ice about the size of a 1 foot by 1 foot by 1 foot cube .
The bread wagon and the milk wagon were enclosed , with windows front and sides , with a sliding door on both sides , closed in winter , open in summer . The ice wagon was just a farm wagon with low sides , and the ice covered with a tarp to retard melting in summer , and I suppose , deter theft by delinquents in some neighborhoods .

Simply a Matter of Time when the Gold Bull goes on Rampage

A read of the gold charts is indicating that a breakout and new bull market are simply a matter of time, says technical analyst Clive Maund.

Gold continues to prepare to break out of its giant Head-and-Shoulders bottom pattern. As we can see on its 8-year chart below, this base pattern has been developing for getting on for five years now, so it has major implications. Upside volume has been building for a long time, driving volume indicators higher, a sign that a breakout and new bull market are simply a matter of time, and not much at that now.

There has been much grumbling and muttering within the gold community about how “The Cartel” and the Comex etc are holding the gold price in restraint by means of naked short selling, and hitting the market with supply when trading is thin during public holidays and overnight and so on, but the fact of the matter is that the reason why the Precious Metals sector has taken a back seat for years now is that there have been hotter games in town, like Biotech, Bitcoin, Cannabis, the FANGS, Tech generally, etc. and endless quantities of cheap money to bid them up into the stratosphere. So that is where the action has been. However, to everything its season and all that is coming to an end now, and the recent plunge in the stock market was a “shot across the bows” to all who would heed it, indicating that a new bear market is starting, but don’t go telling that to the buy the dip crowd.
