Morning Maddog

Posted by Buygold @ 9:10 on March 14, 2018

We’ve seen the USD tick down the last couple of days with no movement higher in pm’s.

But boy oh boy if that USD ticks up even a little it’s an instant move down in pm’s.

Gotta give the UK gov’t some credit too…

Pretty depressing to watch this go on day after day

Could this be any more blatant.

Posted by Maddog @ 8:54 on March 14, 2018

Every time Figs are announced and buying hits PM’s, a seller turns up to smack prices straight back down.

The fact that it is never investigated, or reported tells us that it has to be the Fed/US Government…..who gave the US the right to dictate what prices should be……

Never seen this before

Ben Swann’s Reality Check: Mass Shootings & Psychiatric Drugs

Posted by silverngold @ 20:32 on March 13, 2018

Ben Swann says… When it comes to the debate over mass shootings in America, why does the discussion always go toward tougher gun laws? And yet, we are not talking about the role of antidepressants and other psychiatric medication. The truth? The connection between mass shooters and these meds is stunning. This is a Reality Check you won’t get anywhere else.

Posted by Maya @ 19:38 on March 13, 2018

OMG… The HYPE!  This solar storm is nothing spectacular or out of the ordinary.  From:  http://spaceweather.com/

“NOAA forecasters say there is a 55% chance of G1-class geomagnetic storms when the solar wind stream arrives on March 14th or 15th. G1-class storms are relatively minor and have little effect on satellites and global power grids.”

New Jersey Prepares To Raise Taxes On “Almost Everything” As It Nears Financial Disaster

Last week we noted that in what was a radical U-turn to what other public pension funds have been doing in recent years – most notably Calpers  – the struggling New Jersey public pension system decided that instead of lowering its expected rate of return, it would raise it, from 7% to 7.5%.

The simple reason behind this odd increase in projected returns was an accounting sleight of hand which would allow the state of New Jersey to save some $238 million in pension contributions as a result of the higher discount rate applied to the fund’s liabilities. And with a pension funding level of only 37% for the 2015 fiscal year, the worst of any state in the US, New Jersey would gladly take even the most glaring accounting gimmickry that would delay its inevitable death.

Unfortunately, being the not so proud owner of the most distressed and underfunded public pension fund in the US is just the start of New Jersey’s monetary woes, and as Bloomberg reports, New Jersey’s fiscal situation is so dire that new Governor Phil Murphy has proposed taxing online-room booking, ride-sharing, marijuana, e-cigarettes and Internet transactions along with raising taxes on millionaires and retail sales to fund a record $37.4 billion budget that would boost spending on schools, pensions and mass transit.

The proposal which is 4.2% higher than the current fiscal year’s, relies on a tax for the wealthiest that is so unpopular it not only has yet to be approved, but also lacks support from key Democrats in the legislature, let alone Republicans. It also reverses pledges from Murphy’s predecessor, Republican Chris Christie, to lower taxes in a state where living costs are already among the nation’s highest.

Until they are on their death bed. Many believe in something, some higher power many sometimes not knowing exactly what it is. Nothing that hasn’t been predicted in the Book though. There are somethings that can’t be explained by science sometimes called miracles or miraculous.
As far as only in the imagination many years ago I asked God although recognized he didn’t have to bargain if he thought I had the strength to do something if he could send me certain people to my door within three days. I haven’t seen these people in multi years. Almost like I was trying to get out of it. Two days later there they were.

I wonder if Trump will show up at the opening of our new embassy in Jerusalem?

Rex Tillerson? Just Another Person Put Into The Campaign To Glean Votes For Trump

Posted by Mr.Copper @ 13:09 on March 13, 2018

Same as Steve Bannon. Trump’s group (whoever they are)  got all of Steve Bannon’s followers. Trump’s rhetoric even got the KKK and followers to endorse Trump and his group.

There is definitely a different group in charge, UNLESS its still PART of the same original group that led Obama but “changed their minds” and broke away from the plans and objectives of their prior 8 years represented by Obama.

Every “group” in history picks a like minded, well known and liked leader and or spokesperson to represent the groups objectives, and get the votes. Even Uncle Adolf was chosen to to glean the votes.

For all we know, some day this new group might go against Trump himself if he goes too far against their wishes. FYI reminder. The original “group” during 8 years with Obama was ass kissing the Muslims, by giving them Obama as our president, neglecting Israel, winding down the military spending, and try to balance the budget.

When I heard Trump during the campaign pumping or promoting Israel and Military? I knew something different was starting, OTHER than just capturing the military and Jewish voters and increasing the national debt. I called it a reversal of the reversal, or partial reversal.

My view? Woman are generally liberal and men re generally conservative. However, a large percent of men are girly men. 50%?

If so, then only 25% of the population are conservative, the men. And 75% of the population, woman and girly-men, are liberal.

Because of that, Liberalism for decades has been the winning and dominant force until their accumulation of error caused and resulted in the big crash in 2008. Which in turn has started a complete reversal of the mistaken past.

The other day on TV, some Johnny come lately book writer described my reversal view as a Global Reset. I think Reversal is more accurate.

Trump

was right to fire Tillerson because you cant have someone that works for you disrespect you .

That was unfortunate that Tillerson couldent hold his tongue and he got his lesson in diplomacy .

We are all less fortunate because Tillerson was an able  honest executive ,but Trump was right as usual !

Political Tags? There Are Only Two, the Emotional Party and the Practical Party

Posted by Mr.Copper @ 12:27 on March 13, 2018

Note below I e-mailed to the local newspaper editor after reading his story:

I read your thought provoking essay today. My thoughts? I believe
there are two kinds of people. Some make decisions based on emotion,
and some make decisions based on being practical.

Men are generally bigger and stronger than woman, but woman make up
for that by being very cunning and clever. In fact woman are in
general very good actresses.

Another thing I noticed over the decades, the emotional squeaky wheel
type always get the oil, complain about everything, and too often get
their way, and are never satisfied.

The practical type are somewhat calm and docile and don’t complain
about anything, until it’s too late, things get so far out of whack,
and distorted, and they get negatively effected.

Political tags—such as royalist, communist, democrat, populist, fascist, liberal, conservative, and. so forth—are never basic criteria. The human race divides politically into those who want people to be controlled and those who have no such desire. The former are idealists acting from highest motives for the greatest good of the greatest number. The latter are surly curmudgeons, suspicious and lacking in altruism. But they are more comfortable neighbors than the other sort. — Robert A. Heinlein
