One strange thing was that in front of yr election, the Tories made it clear they supported Hillary, even senior ones like Johnson. Now normally all our pols would say they look fwd to working with whoever wins, even if ideologically, they were Labour and pro Dems, but this made it even stranger as Tories would be pro GoP….so why pro Hillary, breaking all protocol.
