The DNA testing can be expected to be a privacy breach. Not the first time won’t be the last. In this case although making exceptions can have no limits for some, justice was served. Problem still is when it is the opposite and no DNA of person they ignore it.

But others say it raises troubling legal and privacy concerns for the millions of people who submit their DNA to such sites to discover their heritage.

There aren’t strong privacy laws to keep police from trolling ancestry site databases, said Steve Mercer, the chief attorney for the forensic division of the Maryland Office of the Public Defender.

“People who submit DNA for ancestors testing are unwittingly becoming genetic informants on their innocent family,” Mercer said, adding that they “have fewer privacy protections than convicted offenders whose DNA is contained in regulated databanks.”

Joseph James DeAngelo, 72, was arrested Tuesday after investigators matched crime-scene DNA with genetic material stored by a distant relative on an online site. From there, they narrowed it down to the Sacramento-area grandfather using DNA obtained from material he’d discarded, Sacramento County District Attorney Anne Marie Schubert said.

What happened was a bunch of Tea Party people got elected and wanted to balance the budget, and stone walled spending. Remember all that? When “they” wanted to attack Libya I think it was, Obama got on TV and told the French to do it “because we have budget restraints now” he said.

Plus the military and CIA was deemed somewhat useless after seeing 19 terrorists get away with 9/11/01. Normally a country needs prosperity to spend money. Or massive printing or borrowing money like we see unfolding. Around my area NY, I see a lot of welfare jobs going on with this “New York Rising” program.

All kinds of unneeded projects to create jobs. Its as if the state in the depression era. And maybe most of the country is doing the same thing to make all these good job numbers.

Not bad action in pm’s this am, flat is good all things considered. It could and maybe even should be a lot worse. USD a quarter point from being flat on the year.

how healthy do u want to be–enuff to make the effort to help yourself–to make a RADICAL change in your diet and life style?–ya see with these alt. therapies, they have to be done according to plan/protocol–not chaotically–not for 3 days then go for a big fat thanksgiving dinner…this  is not a weight loss diet where u can “make up” for it the next day–u r starting a healing process and even one bad meal can be a serious set back…so before u buy a book or sign up for an expensive stay at a health spa, u gotta look deep within and see if u really want to be healthy….reading inspirational literature and getting all hyped up for a few days is just a waste of your time. What I just wrote applies to any alt. approach to health and healing.
