Loading ...When it came to geography and time . It accurately indicated when and where some of my ancestors moved from Scotland to different areas in North America . But again , that could have come from genealogical records , and likely did .
In my case , although my ancestors on both sides came from Scotland about 2 centuries ago , they resided in Scottish settlements and married other Scots from those settlements . My blood lines are still 100 % Scottish although my parents were from two very different parts of North America. ( Ontario ( via the Mohawk valley in NY state before the American Revolution ) and Cape Breton Island , Nova Scotia ( after 1800 )).
Does that make me inbred ? LOL
