Considering the USD strength and rising rates. I do actually think the SM is in trouble once the 10 yr. hits 3%

Equisetum @ 0:27 re your silver ride through Skookumchuck.

My reversal views suggest people who were doing well, will do worse. And people who were doing bad, will do better. So Silver investors are due to do better.

Manufacturers were first ones DOWN after 1971, and retail the LAST ones down. That suggests Manufacturers and producers will be doing better, FIRST and it will take about FORTY YEARS for retail to bottom. 🙂

Real estate also has led a “charmed life”, that also might be ending soon.

another one of the old killers making a comeback

https://arstechnica.com/science/2018/04/first-xdr-typhoid-is-on-the-verge-of-being-untreatable-spreading-globally/

“A tenacious epidemic of extensively drug-resistant (XDR) typhoid in Pakistan is just one small genetic step away from becoming untreatable—and health experts expect it to spread worldwide.

“It’s a global concern at this point,” Dr. Eric Mintz, an epidemiologist at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention told The New York Times. “Everything suggests this strain will survive well and spread easily—and acquiring resistance to azithromycin is only a matter of time.” Azithromycin is currently the only antibiotic remaining that treats the infection.”

You wonder why are these old diseases are making a comeback?

I was watching a Dr. OZ show a couple of months ago and he tested 5 cell phones of his employees who take their phones into the bathroom while they are “unloading” and phones from 5 employees who don’t take their cell phones into the bathroom.  Some of his employees said they spend almost an hour working on the T bowl doing work or surfing.

The bacteria count (its actually higher on the outside of the T bowl than inside) was around 10,ooo on the cell phones that were not in the bathroom well over 1,000,000 on the phones that went into the bathroom.

When you  go into restaurant and see employees talking on their phone (and they all do it) its no wonder all these diseases are making a comeback because I know they are not decontaminating their phones.

The $ index popped up but is drifting off its high…

“A review of MassRoots Inc.’s annual filing made Tuesday with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission provides a portrait of a negative-net-worth company that is burning through cash, missing IRS payments and SEC reporting deadlines, handing out stock-based compensation like candy, and operating with no external sources of liquidity.

The Denver-based firm closed out 2017 with a reported net loss of $44 million on revenue of under $320,000, according to the filing. More than $22 million of those losses were the value of stock-based compensation to former employees, board members and business consultants.”

Silver On The Verge Of A Breakout

Summary

•Silver prices are trading almost 25% below the values predicted by our price model. This is the largest downside deviation we have seen in over 25 years.

•We believe this is the result of massive short selling in the futures market.

•In order to maintain this downward pressure on silver, speculators would have to continue to sell over 500 million ounces of paper silver per year.

•A reversal of this positioning could lead a >30% rally in silver prices in our view.

I think we’re pretty close to some major resistance here. We’ll see what happens.

Re Silver squeeze

Posted by Maddog @ 10:02 on April 19, 2018

Sure looks poss….2nd day and the scum can’t hold it.

U can see the scum desperately bidding Dollars, as it looks like people are selling the SM and maybe Bonds, then dumping the dollars to go home…and perhaps buying some PM’s .

Has everyone voted in the Poll?

What if…….?? [This is from Rubino so take with a quart of salt]

Posted by Richard640 @ 9:52 on April 19, 2018

Is This The Long-Awaited Silver Short Squeeze?

“This is almost unprecedented… and implies that a short squeeze – in which speculators are forced to cover their short bets by buying silver futures, thus forcing the price sharply higher – is a real possibility.

I buy it as a way to threaten the deep state. What all the bitcoin bots fail to mention is that they are in bed with the deep state in terms of allowing unlimited tracking and a fiat value based on algos. Silver stackers are the deep states nightmare. If we ever went from 1% of the population to like 5%, the deep state would collapse.

Don’t know, don’t care.  The whole system is a racket.  I think, therefore I stack.

Pet Nutrition–this is not directed towards anyone–this is just a general statement:

ALL commercial pet food is carcinogenic–even the latest marketing ploy of all these new ‘healthy recipes”–even the organic ones…are still not good for your pet…if u must buy  ready to eat food for your dog, be extremely careful–it’s a hassle, but if u choose the right foods and supplements for your dog, they can live, healthily, to age 20 or 25

Let’s be honest…most people –myself included–cry more tears and feel more depressed over losing a dog or cat than they do a friend or relative…for understandable reasons I won’t go into now,,

EU door now shut to Britain for good, Hollande says: Telegraph

PARIS (Reuters) – The door to the European Union is now closed to Britain and Europeans should not accept any attempt to reverse Brexit, former French President Francois Hollande warned in an interview with Britain’s Daily Telegraph published on Thursday.

“It’s shut. The vote has taken place and nobody can question it,” he said, dismissing attempts by the Remain camp to do so. “One cannot open a negotiation thinking that there is any way out other than leaving,” he was quoted as saying.

Thanks for the comments on oil, “The Gartman Effect” too funny. The only thing that’s odd to me is it’s not really going up against a really weak dollar.

Maddog – agree about rates, the ten year back up to 2.9% – at 3% it’s supposedly Armageddon for markets.

Little bit of follow thru on silver – who would’ve thought?
