As we see on the chart below, the battle for the 200 day has so far lasted 2.5 weeks. The battle for the 50 day (blue) lasted four weeks. The three-wave overlapping form is clear for both counter-trend rallies. Much ado about nothing. The current rally clearly far weaker. From a social mood perspective, everyone knows that trade wars are a buying opportunity. When that level got bought but ended lower it was on to buying WWIII. This would be the first hot war between the two nuclear powers in history. 

But, the sheeple are too stoned to take notice. In other words, “I’ll have what they’re having”…

Yes, it’s news driven and these events don’t usually work out very well for more than a couple of days.

I’m guessing the news is the upcoming Syria attack, so the response from Russia might be the key.

re Early days….it’s also a news driven near break out in Gold. So far they have held it back just short of 1366.08 the previous Hi.

I’ve been fooled by these one day wonders before, although we have been pretty resilient for the last few days.

There’s a long way to go higher if this is the real deal, the hard part will be holding all the way up.

Question is whether this will be another one off, when I get excited it usually means…:)

I never cease to be amazed at how obsessed the Media is with the likes of Faceplant and Twitter. I often thought they were being bunged to keep mentioning them…but maybe not, they really are that sad.
