In summary, exceptional hubris is exceptionally painful
Two bubbles will implode at the same time – Tech overweight, and Treasury bond short.
Prepare for the third and last island reversal of fortune
The end is nigh, brother, the end is nigh!
World markets are like a pie crust stretched across the roof of a volcano!
Fu Manchu is about to pull the lever to the trap door!
Warbucks signals the trusty Punjab to cut the cords of the rope bridge!
Grease the skids! Happy tobogganing!

This is my first article for Sprott Money—the first of many, I hope—and I am thrilled to be able to say that I believe we are on the cusp of a significant rally.
The positioning of the Money Managers, or “Funds”, in the Gold futures market is at extremes that have typically led to massive rallies in Gold. They are usually net long, but as you can see from the table below, when their net long position is sufficiently low, it tends to lead to significant rallies in the price of Gold.

Hope you’re on the backend of the eruptions and it’s just about over.

This is the view from my yard, looking south at the cloud from the eruptive vents five miles away. The tradewinds have quit and the plumes are going straight up and condensing clouds.
The summit crater has tamed down from yesterday’s steam shots and ash fall. But the summit area has had two 4.o earthquakes this morning, so more rockfalls into the crater hell-hole are expected.
This is what the rift zone looks like from the air this morning, courtesy of USGS.
I live about five miles on the other side of those plumes. I’m feeling the rumbling now as I type… earthquaking and subsonic air pressure changes..

If I remember right we have two days before your seasonal bottom hits on the 18th
So, while I hope it holds true, it’s really hard to see any kind of T/A, seasonal’s or anything else mattering in these manipulated markets.
I’m not just talking pm’s, all markets, the Russell 2K hit all time highs ahead of the DOW and S & P. Doesn’t make sense with interest rates rising as that should hurt small businesses the most.
On the other hand, gold and shares have been in this range for a long time – hard to see them really breaking down from here. I’ve been fooled a lot though.

Father of a girl killed at Parkland school now running for position on the school board. He seems pretty knowledgeable. He said Cruz was the biggest kept secret. He said his son knew when the shooting started it was Cruz.

If your talking about the video it’s for newbies. Wait till bonds get hit.. if ever.
Blue states are gonna go broke making brain dead decisions with politics PC instead of economics which they have no experience in anyways. It’s already hurt pensions. Their answer will always be just raise taxes. Calif even want taxes to help pay for illegals legal and medical expenses plus school while the legal youth have to pay for it.

We may be bouncing off the bottom of the trend here, and I have been buying some bits of AUY, PVG, and Osisko Mining. I am thinking positively.
Commodities are still going up with the dollar….hmm

Many of the cities on the west coast have enacted bans against the coal trains coming into the ports. It’s the general left wing hysteria about global warming. They think they are saving the Earth. At least maybe now some logic is coming into the equation.
“Cities” shouldn’t be deciding a nation’s trade policy.

Bloomberg) — A federal judge struck down the city of Oakland, California’s ban prohibiting companies from transporting coal though an export terminal that U.S. miners see as a key link to overseas markets.
The ban enacted by the city in 2014 violates a development agreement, U.S. District Judge Vince Chhabria said Tuesday in a 37-page ruling.
As demand for coal in the U.S. declines, miners depend increasingly on overseas markets. Yet Wyoming and Montana’s Powder River Basin, home to the nation’s largest reserves, is largely cut off from the world market without West Coast ports.

About 25 minutes in, he says don’t listen to Wall Street journal. Basically for newbies.
Their argument gold doesn’t pay dividends comparison. Euro negative, you have to pay to hold it, yen negative, dollar as some value but after rate of inflation zero too. If you held gold since 2000 it has value, not same for dollar. Like empty land that doesn’t charge rent like gold still has value.

Conservatives In An Uproar After Twitter Deploys Draconian Shadowban Filter
Conservative Twitter users are in an uproar over draconian new “behavioral filters” which will start hiding tweets that “detract from the conversation,” and which CEO Jack Dorsey says are designed to “significantly reduce the ability to game and skew our systems” (less than six months before midterms, we might add).
