Loading ...I spent a career getting ‘Live TV’ out of strange places, usually VIA Satellite. Now with the tech revolution, my career became obsolete and I was put out to pasture. Now I watch a local girl reporter go out on a boat, offshore of the lava, and do Live TV from out in the middle of nowhere on the ocean. They use a backpack computer with broadband modems that connect to local cell sites and digitally hack a HDTV signal back to the station via a several broadband internet connections all knit together. My communications engineering skills have reverted to a ham radio hobby now. But I’m happy to have survived this far.
