I don’t think you could buy gold coins again till 1975. All you could do legally is save silver coins. Guess you could still get gold certs. Sounds like this lady went through the 30s and the depression and had a saftey net but something happened before she could tell anyone since she was in her 50 s in 1951.
I saw this before but never watched the whole thing till now when Alex made it more interesting lol
