Ouch! That’s some determination and although I respect their right to decide I think they should start having assessments like they do other sports. I only say that now though lol but then that could wind up too picky and every little thing they’re capable of overcomming.
Yea many are hard headed or like free spirits like me including Eddie who was probably both and a exceptional athlete. It’s a shame what happened to him, they shouldn’t of let him go but then like you say they’re hard headed. You can start becoming one with the ocean until hypothermia starts seting in although no one knows exactly what happened and a lotta possibilities. Just really sad and unfortunate.

Surfers are hard-headed… as you know.  At the last “Eddie Aikau” contest at Waimea Bay, Oahu, Eddie’s brother Clyde got his arm folded back on his first wave as he went over the top.  He popped his vest underwater and made it up and out of the water OK with a limp arm.   He sat onshore for an hour and went back out on his next turn and still surfed a world class wave… with one limp arm.  After he got back in they took him to the hospital to find a completely torn rotator cuff.

About the meeting with Putin. Maybe the right should call the left on the BS and cover ups. The emails, the Urinaum. Then talk about who’s side are they on. Left only on the side of their own personal enrichment and power. They only have accusations.

I think your right that a large portion of the younger crowd lean toward the left. I may have been somewhere in the middle but know I was more clueless of politics or corruption. I may have though the gov had a lot of money and put it to good use though. I got in the congressional record over that. What I was clukesss about was taxes. Today with a push of free medical which wasn’t too much of a concern in 60-70s less health issues or catastrophic the ideas per day of free medical today probably sounds good to the young with the prices now. The thing they don’t understand is that the out of control prices neeed go be brought back down instead as the Demos will use go to tax wages st 70% and illegals will use it. They’re well informed what’s going on here. They even know which states are best to land in when they cross because of the district courts like the ones who fight Trump. Some states under their circuts will release them for instance and they know it. Demos know they’ll vote to the left.
GOP not all that conservative, all talk getting nothing done. Nunes is a lone sodier.

…has not disappointed me , although he is a pragmatist and I tend to be an idealist . That is why he is rich and I have lost a small fortune chasing gold and silver stocks , when I just KNEW they HAD to benefit from the political/central bank shenanigans of the past decade .

If I still lived in Canada , and followed the news there , I too , would likely vote Trump as evil . Instead my political vote helped put him in office in 2016 .

Well, I can’t prove it but, ….we have lurkers. I am talking about lurkers that belong to organized leftist groups that monitor this site so as to put it on one of their hate lists or to report it to the IRS, etc. A group such as  Southern Poverty comes to mind. These types don’t post here for obvious reasons but, they can anonymously vote Trump in the poll.  I believe that this site is being actively watched.

Folks, we live in a world of promises that cannot be kept. Where exactly do you believe the capital will flow to when promises cascade into broken promises? It will be THE largest transfer of wealth in all of history …INTO gold and silver because they don’t promise anything at all. Gold and silver are already “kept promises” that labor, capital and equipment were expended to create them. They are “proof” of kept promises!

These are trying times for those logically holding gold and silver. A financial collapse should have occurred sometime over the last three years but has not. Because it has not happened yet is not in any way proof that it will not. In fact, “math” is never refuted, only delayed. I will leave you with an example; is there any possible way London has the ability to deliver 3-4 years worth of global gold and silver production to their EFP’s? It’s OK, you know the answer … yet still worry over current price?
