Loading ...I’m glad you enjoyed my observations. I’m still amazed at the diverse forms that lava takes, depending on eruptive conditions, gasses, pressures, & water. This has been a historic phase-change for our volcano. For now, the volcano seems to have reached a pressure equilibrium after emptying the magma. The USGS today downgraded the volcano from ‘Warning’ status to ‘Watch’. The earthquakes and crater collaps at the summit have ceased, and lava has stopped flowing out of the vent… for now. As always, subject to change.
