The other group, blamed inflation on the high wages. Two time I remember wage and price controls. Then they started raising rates to 20%, off shored jobs, started importing for mathematically lower prices. The future looked bad to me back then. After the 2008 I got optimistic. But its too slow evolving, too little too slow.
TPTB may know something we all don’t know, and seem to be in panic mode, cheerleading and jaw boning this so called “booming economy”. It ain’t JUST Trump involved. I think there was a “split” of some kind in the PTB group.
