why trump will never appoint nunes to anything:

nunes is a republican congressman from granolistan.

if nunes gets appointed to anything, that creates a vacancy for gov. brown to fill.  100% chance that brown would choose a democrap.

Trump should put someone vocal about going after the swamp like Nunes who is a savvy one with that and would be harder to fool cuz he knows what’s up. Doubt if he’d want to give up his current job.
I hope the people who needed to get out of the Hurricane path got out. Animals too.

nikki is not an attorney, but the attorney general job is a political job.  nikki is highly skilled in the political arena.  if she does become attorney general, she will have a couple battalions of lawyers working for her.

i just heard a rumor that nikki haley may be the replacement for a.g. sessions some time after the first of the year.

Yes some are disrespectful. Maybe she’s just tired of being on the road all the time plus dealing with God knows what. I liked her too.

I liked Haley too. Not sure if she’s a lawyer but maybe Trump can fire Sessions and hire her.

We will know for sure if Trump and company pick a male representative. In many other countries, the men are prejudice and or disrespectful against woman. So why send woman out there? To “teach” them or set examples?

treefrog manor is in the yellow stripe to the right of the projected path, anticipating 4 – 6 inches of rain.

all this is predicated on the meteorologist  –  geeks best guesses.  i have noticed that they have gotten pretty good at their art with the modern improvements in technology.  pretty good, but still a couple notches short of perfect.

the biggest uncertainty is the timing of the right turn in the storm path that all the models  are anticipating sometime in the next 24 – 36 hours.  if the turn happens sooner (and/or sharper) the impact on treefrog manor becomes more intense.  if later (and/or softer) it’s less intense.

it’s still something of a crap shoot.

edit:  i just checked the latest advisory and it looks like the projection is shifting slightly west (away from treefrog manor) and wind speed is up to 110 mph.  this one is a full – grown hurricane.  it WILL chew things up when/where it comes ashore.

Re Cramer’s concern. He’s a little late, speaking after seeing and hearing some evidence of slowing. I expressed concern while hearing how great everything was. When everything is real bad like that 2008 crash, I got optimistic when all around me were scared stiff. A few months back, hearing about how great everything is, I mentioned to people around me…..”Now that everybody thinks everything is so good, don’t be surprised to see a slowdown” Who knows? Maybe it’s different this time. 🙂  I still think think the US economy is in the big eye of a big economic storm that was born after the 1971 unlinking the dollar and gold. With 2008 being the first eyewall hit.

Cramer on CNBS warning about an economic slowdown, worried about growth, earnings, trade war with China and interest rates rising.

I’m a little surprised by this, maybe he’s out in front this time.
