I think Trump and company should call a spade, a spade. And call Democrats what they really are. International Citizens. or Global Citizens. They owe allegiance to all foreign nations. I noticed it decades ago. The democrat representatives are very obedient to global powers. Republican leaders are only less obedient.  Anyone notice that?

I think that’s a good move. I’m looking forward to the next up $50 day.

Neither China nor the U.S. is ready to blink. Both sides think the other guy has more to lose. If that is the case, then there will be a lot more pain in the financial markets before the problem is resolved.

Time to lighten up

Over the past few months, I have been somewhat more bullish on equities than many of my hedge-fund-brethren. Yet, for the first time in a while, I am worried. I hear all sorts of calls for a year end rally that they are planning on selling into.

Could this happen? For sure. But I am not nearly as confident anymore.

And especially when it comes to the American market. It has been screaming higher versus the rest of the world for the past couple of years. It’s due for a pause.

And I think this Chinese trade war will get much worse before it gets better. All of this adds up to a market where I am willing to starting leaning to the dark side. I have been waiting to write this piece for the past couple of days because I didn’t want to sell into the hole, but we have gotten the bounce from the lows, and now the risks of the downtrend continuing are rising.

What will make me shift my mind? Obviously either side caving and coming to terms on a trade deal would cause me to abandon my thesis. Yet absent that, I think rallies should be sold.

I have a bunch of other trades that I want to implement based on this theory, but I will save that for another day… except to say, gold priced in CNH is breaking out for a reason…

Ya know how they say its darkest before the dawn? The above sounds like its brightest before the dusk, or dive? 🙂

Anxiety or stress does cause back injury. If that was true everyone would have it. That argument and probably trying to sell you something. It’s good for chronic pain in trying to manage it.
That would be like saying to someone your gay because you had a bad experience with the opposite sex. If that were true everyone would be gay.
There is wear and tear on the back through time that differs with physical factors but a big difference between wear and tear and injury or other problems including weight.
He wasn’t old enough for wear and tear or have extra weight.
Stress can interfere with the natural pain mechanisms in the body.
Stress can bring on health issues even age you before your time. People who don’t handless stress easily upsetable overreacts to every little thing are even toxic to others. Stress can cause things like blood pressure to rise even heart attacks but not in a healthy heart unless there’s other factors.
It’s shown that relieving stress helps the body heal faster but not all things will heal well or get worse without intervention.

If the person is NOT a gambler, not an alcoholic, not a drug addict and has MONEY problems? Its all because of IMPORTS and GLOBALIZATION and INFLATION eroding away the basic original minimum wage, DESIGNED to get us  out of the Depression and avoid growing poverty in the future.

Buying imports is like a rat eating rat poison. Buying imports shows a lack of patriotism, and they think only about themselves and NOT their country. Its normal, so the Gov’t is supposed maintain the rules. But if the Gov’t is the “boss” FORGET about it. You get what we see the past 45 years.

MONEY problems, budget deficits, trade deficits, $20 trillion national debt. No need to talk about it anymore. The damage has been done. And now, even the “boss” knows his balls are on the line, and he’s in panic mode giving the US economy electro-shock treatment.

I laugh and gloat every day since the 2008 crash. I knew what those BUMS had in mind when I was in my 20s. I tried warning everyone. So did Carlin and Ross Perot. Even Trump was trying in the 1980s. I beat them ALL out in the 1970s when the “dawn” of screw the USA started. I had a QUICK gag reflex.

Your note sounded like it was his first attack and wanted to know what it was NOW, and wanted it fixed right away. Then the operation is what screwed him up. The Dr. I mentioned has patients that had surgery on their backs and back pain continues. Even a relative here had back pain, went for surgery, no help.

The Dr. Sarno said under X-Rays ALL people have abnormalities on the back bone. Then they point one out and blame it, and do operations that mostly don’t work. Wrong cause. They tried to shut the guy up because its a multi billion dollar “job” for them. BTW extremely old people get that way with positive thoughts, staying active, and staying AWAY from Doctors. Them and stress and worry cause all the mechanical ailments, including digestive ailments.

Once they get a hold of you forget about it. They NEVER suggest psychological placebo approach like rub horse shit on it like the old days. 🙂 Your son-in-law may have had a lot on his mind, and the back attack is his body’s way of forcing a long needed rest.  I once had a bad attack while driving to a friends house for dinner. Holy cow was that, as I tried standing up at 35 miles per hour.

Of those killed in the September 11th attacks 412 were emergency workers.

I think some of these doctors are told not to help people because they can be eligible for disability. He couldn’t work so couldn’t apply for unemployment and doctors wouldn’t help him he couldn’t even buy insurance anymore. This happens a lot and know a guy with a similar problem with his back and I saw the X-rays it was bad. He killed himself so his kids could eat. He wrote a letter first he didn’t want to be a burden to his family. He knew they would get help once he died. He went fishing with a bottle drank it and took his pain pills. They found him in the bottom of the river he fell in when he stood up and possibly had a heart attack from poisoning himself and fell. They could see weeds pulled up so he probably tried to stop himself from falling in.
Cold blooded bottom line. They need help kick them to the curb. IMO he should Of sued that doctor too for refusing to help him. They might get disability and these pompous asks are told it’s a waist of money. Meanwhile they take in illegals and give them free healthcare.
Until then I spent thousands to help their utility’s on and food in the table including the baby and his two from another relationship. After they gave me the money back.

About 5 years ago or so. He was in a bad state for awhile. Still has problems related to it. Hard to go from active and a oil field hot shot to what he went through and totally dependent on my daughter for awhile. He had someone buy out his place for zero while just in time they settled and bought a better house.

today reminds me of the day before the $32 pop…so if Asia & Europe come in tonite and tomorrow down hard, maybe gold will make a run for the roses…last rally, though, the $ was down WITH stawks…
