Hope you got your back checked out.
My son in law injured his back and the hospital just gave him drugs told him to rest. He didn’t want drugs, he wanted to know what was wrong. I wasn’t aware what was going on.
It got worse he couldn’t walk and was in 10+ pain. His brother my daughter called had to lift him to a wheelchair.
Again they sent him home.
By then both me at work and his mom told her to get him to another hospital stat,
He went straight into surgery and had a Hemorrhage.
Now he’s about to lose him home has a new baby and could no longer walk at that time.
I came over he was looking depressed and told him you have a law suit. Told them check out the lawyer so he doesn’t get paid off. Get a doctor so they can’t trick him,
They aware him 1 million because he could walk then with difficulty otherwise would of been more.

Pretty good action in pm’s
Considering the SM is getting a little squishy…
You know Trump said something important about R.E.Lee the other day
Lincoln was so worried that Lee was winning so many battles that he wanted a General that could win..not talk about it.
He hired a whiskey drinkin cigar smoker that was formally a SILVER miner by the name of Grant that had the guts of a Silver miner to overcome problems with brute force.
First you should know that Lincolns first choice was Lee who turned him down because because of his loyalty to Virginia ,then Lee became a problem by winning! He was the better tactician ,but didnt have the resources of the Norths Industrial capacity and that was his undoing …Grant used industrial might to overwhelm Lee .
Years ago I was in Virginia CITY Nevada and I saw a picture on a wall of two guys that mined Silver there and one looked very familiar ,I inquired and discovered it was WT GRANT and his Father in earlier days when both were Silver miners .Back then mining was a pick AXE and a chisel banged on by a sledge hammer to get er done..A brutal way to mine .using a candle for light in a cold damp 5 ft high tunnel with an elevator made of Hemp rope that lowered you down (which frequently broke and killed more miners that anything else .Thats the life that forged Grants tough Demeaner that Lincoln recognized as what HE NEEDED.
That trip to see California where I ended up on my way to Lake TAHOE in between was VIRGINIA city where I learned a lot about Grant, Silver Mining and how Lincoln won the war..Virginia CITY was History …
I also learned on that trip that William Randolph Hearst father was a Silver miner ..He bought an interest in a Silver mine for $3000 and ended up taking 93,000,000 millions out of it .Then his son William was in college working on the school newspaper and asked Dad to finance a newspaper venture he wanted to buy that was losing money .Dad said ok but I give you two years to turn it around and then I cut your money off. Well William Randolph was successful and ended up buying 96 other Newspapers …Today Hearst Corp owns 100 miles of California Coastline that grazes cattle on it to keep taxes down..(worth about a million a foot today) …This is the History of Silver Mining in the US..
What a Great trip that was ! I was gone 6weeks and traveled the entire California coast west to Sacramento then on to Virginia City and Lake Tahoe..flew back from San Francisco ! What a History Lesson in Silver mining ..!

Yeah, this is sort of typical action in gold. A string of days where gold is up $3 down $1 – trending sideways to up but nothing strong. baby steps up with a crushing down move over a couple of days. Op Ex isn’t usually too kind to us.
Shares look half way decent today but nothing spectacular. I guess your point about resilience is right especially in the face of a USD that has risen almost 1% in the last two days.
These guys are masters at keeping me from committing any new cash.

Trotsky assassinated in Mexico
Exiled Russian revolutionary Leon Trotsky is fatally wounded by an ice-ax-wielding assassin at his compound outside Mexico City. The killer–Ramón Mercader–was a Spanish communist and probable agent of Soviet leader Joseph Stalin. Trotsky died from his wounds the next day.
Born in the Ukraine of Russian-Jewish parents in 1879, Trotsky embraced Marxism as a teenager and later dropped out of the University of Odessa to help organize the underground South Russian Workers’ Union. In 1898, he was arrested for his revolutionary activities and sent to prison. In 1900, he was exiled to Siberia.
In 1902, he escaped to England using a forged passport under the name of Leon Trotsky (his original name was Lev Davidovich Bronshtein). In London, he collaborated with Bolshevik revolutionary Vladimir Ilyich Lenin but later sided with the Menshevik factions that advocated a democratic approach to socialism. With the outbreak of the Russian Revolution of 1905, Trotsky returned to Russia and was again exiled to Siberia when the revolution collapsed. In 1907, he again escaped.
During the next decade, he was expelled from a series of countries because of his radicalism, living in Switzerland, Paris, Spain, and New York City before returning to Russia at the outbreak of the revolution in 1917. Trotsky played a leading role in the Bolsheviks’ seizure of power, conquering most of Petrograd before Lenin’s triumphant return in November. Appointed Lenin’s secretary of foreign affairs, he negotiated with the Germans for an end to Russian involvement in World War I. In 1918, he became war commissioner and set about building up the Red Army, which succeeded in defeating anti-communist opposition in the Russian Civil War. In the early 1920s, Trotsky seemed the heir apparent of Lenin, but he lost out in the struggle of succession after Lenin fell ill in 1922.
ANTIFA is nothing NEW its not just a Liberal branch ..its HARD Core Communists leading them that keep testing the Limits of what YOU will tolerate .!They have taken over the Leadership vacuum in the Democrap Party .

Re Various Ailments and Reverse Placebo Effect
No time now for the whole story, but if have it in your head, that you have a structural mechaanical problem in your lower back bone, the awareness in the back of your mind will give you a back attacks on occasion, by “lifting something the wrong way” etc that can last over one week. If you truly believe (like a religion) that certain things in your food will cause this or that, you will give yourself “this or that “. The treatment and relief you you get is mostly temporary , and mostly a placebo effect. The pain or the “runs” or what ever the ailment is, always comes back because the real cause is not addressed. Stress, worry, also wake up the problem. Like a car problem, if it’s not a mechanical structural problem, it’s an electrical problem, or nerves in a person. I myself hurt my back as a teenager pulling a sailboat onto the beach. My entire lifetime on and off bad pain because I assumed I had squashed disks. My last biggest and worst attack was on a Saturday (after the big ‘08 crash) before the Sunday Super Bowl party I was supposed to attend. Aturally I could not attend. I could not even move for hours, the attack took my breath away. A few of the party people were disappointed I wasn’t there to talk about the crash and phoned me. Bottom line read “Mind over back pain” by Dr. Sarno. It’s fits with many ailments. STRESS ailments might pop up in other areas though.
Another attempt at an up open
but can it hold past the first half hour?
Ororeef-preservatives are just a minor contributing cause–the main cause of irritable bowel syndrome is the lack of fiber
from whole grains-aka complex carbohydrates. Anyone with that syndrome should also use the worlds greatest probiotic=organic unpasteurised miso–it is alkalising and cuts down inflammation, reducing chronic pain–…in soups or in other dishes….the fiber from whole cereal grains is superior to fiber from fruits and veggies.

the info regarding barley is true—with minor variations—with all whole grains—[and supermarket so-called 100% whole wheat bread is not what I am talking about—eat whole grains whole or
cracked—keep them in ground flour form to a minimum]—all info from this site is drawn from peer review articles]
Barley’s Fiber for Regularity, Lower Cholesterol, & Intestinal Protection
Wish you were more regular? Let barley give your intestinal health a boost. In addition to providing bulk and decreasing the transit time of fecal matter, thus decreasing the risk of colon cancer and hemorrhoids, barley’s dietary fiber also provides food for the “friendly” bacteria in the large intestine. When these helpful bacteria ferment barley’s insoluble fiber, they produce a short-chain fatty acid called butyric acid, which serves as the primary fuel for the cells of the large intestine and helps maintain a healthy colon. These helpful bacteria also create two other short-chain fatty acids, propionic and acetic acid, which are used as fuel by the cells of the liver and muscles.
The propionic acid produced from barley’s insoluble fiber may also be partly responsible for the cholesterol-lowering properties of fiber. In animal studies, propionic acid has been shown to inhibit HMG-CoA reductase, an enzyme involved in the production of cholesterol by the liver. By lowering the activity of this enzyme, propionic acid helps lower blood cholesterol levels.
In addition, barley’s dietary fiber is high in beta glucan, which helps to lower cholesterol by binding to bile acids and removing them from the body via the feces. Bile acids are compounds used to digest fat that are manufactured by the liver from cholesterol. When they are excreted along with barley’s fiber, the liver must manufacture new bile acids and uses up more cholesterol, thus lowering the amount of cholesterol in circulation. Soluble fiber may also reduce the amount of cholesterol manufactured by the liver.
Lastly, when barley provides insoluble fibers that feed friendly bacteria in the digestive tract, this helps to maintain larger populations of friendly bacteria. In addition to producing the helpful short-chain fatty acids described above, friendly bacteria play an important protective role by crowding out pathogenic (disease-causing) bacteria and preventing them from surviving in the intestinal tract.
Barley’s fiber can prevent or help with a number of different conditions. For example, when barley’s fiber binds to and removes cholesterol-containing bile, this can be very beneficial for people struggling with heart disease since it forces the body to make more bile by breaking down cholesterol, thus lowering cholesterol levels.
The fiber in barley can also help to prevent blood sugar levels from rising too high in people with diabetes.

I’m more Indian than ‘Pocahontas’ is!
The family story was that my four-greats grandmother was an indian. My mother’s side is French Canadian, and there is indian blood in there from the Chippewa tribe of the region. But grandfather’s geneology records were lost in a church fire in Quebec long ago.
So I took a generalized DNA test some years back to ascertain the truth. Native American Indian shows as ‘Asian’ (that’s where they came from!) I have approximately 3% native american… perhaps as much as 5% with statistical error.
Still… that does NOT get me BIA or Tribal recognition.
Many stomach problems like Inflamatory bowl symptoms and such
are from too much Preservative in the food we eat..The preservative prevents and kills the enzymes from assisting in digestion of food even though it protects the food companies profits by reducing spoilage ..
Its almost impossible to get food without it,its even in Wine that would normally aid digestion if left to ferment naturally without sulfides .The bible said drink some wine for thy stomachs sake,,,but that was before sulfide addition.. add some kimchee or Japanese NATTo to your diet if you can find it.Maybe a local winery will sell you some wine without sulfides if asked….Just be aware to keep it at cool temperature and it stays for about 3 months as Home made wine does .In any case it turns to vinegar so keep it anyway for salad dressing …I was able to buy sour dough bread without preservative from Walmart until recently..now its got preservative….too bad…
Mr Copper
You could have a big ol wart on your forehead and it won’t kill you but do you want to keep it there? Lol You know these doctors wouldn’t. Some may affect quality of life emotionally and socially.
It seems what they’re talking about is things you’ll die with ” won’t kill you first” and that has been around for as long as I can remember. They can get it wrong though especially if they go by average life span and we have a growing amount of centurions so depends what it is as some you want to catch in slow growing stage.
You know one of the biggest over treatment is, the prostrate. Something all men should educate themselves with.
