Loading ...was Gabriel Heatter . He had a news program which came on every evening about 7:00 , and would start every show with the words ” Baaaad News tonight , folks ! Baaaad News tonight !”.
Hard to believe we all fell for that theater .
Well , I guess not , looking around today’s Kabuki .
I’ve now edited this post , because a search of his name comes up with “GOOD News tonight” . I guess that was to prop up morale during the WWII years . My recall was post WWII .
