The only “news” out was on the 13th, Thursday, announcing a change of key leadership-is this a delayed reaction? Todays gain can’t be attributed to earnings:

Two analysts have issued estimates for Coeur Mining’s earnings, with the highest sales estimate coming in at $181.70 million and the lowest estimate coming in at $162.38 million. Coeur Mining posted sales of $214.59 million during the same quarter last year, which would indicate a negative year over year growth rate of 19.8%.
