” I don’t think Israel is going to allow a big Iranian presence there, that’s a recipe for trouble. I imagine the Syrian gov knows that.”

Well, I think Israel and their allies Saudi Arabia and Jordan can handle that just fine by themselves.

Has everyone voted in the poll?

I’ll be glad to see all foreign troops removed from Syria. I don’t think Israel is going to allow a big Iranian presence there, that’s a recipe for trouble. I imagine the Syrian gov knows that.

Erdogan thinks he’s the new Xerxes the Great. Heading his country into trouble. IMO

Pompeo and Bolton are not friends of Trump or the American people for that matter.

Forget about all that worry, reading, supplements, and stress to stay alive.  When the time comes there is nothing you can do about it. Its all in the genes you inherited. Dogs cats, deer in the woods, people that abuse themselves etc don’t worry about a thing. Ignorance is bliss.

I swear all these medical adds on TV have people paranoid and worried al the time. People think their human maintenance free self healing body is like a car. Important to change the oil every 3000 miles, Plugs air filter every 12,000 miles, watch your oil pressure and water temperature bla bla bla. In fact only two countries allow medical adds on TV. They will probably put a stop to it. Like cigarette and alcohol and firearms commercials.

I’m 74, and can pass for 55-60. Easy. I don’t like and rarely eat fruits or vegetables. I eat all kinds of things health watching people would not eat. Plenty of carbohydrates. And I’m not fat and still have all my blond hair like my grandfather did. My grandmother had brown hair into her 80s. People don’t believe me when I tell the my age. One time I had to show a barber my drivers license to prove it.

Looks like da boyz from da Hamptons had to get up an hour early this morning

Get our troops the hell out of there. So, is the military following Trumps orders?

Why then does he have a couple of Neocons popping off?

I heard Pompeo this am saying that the US was going to remove Iran from Syria.

As far as I’m concerned Iran can have the whole damn region.

I use Spectrum brand walnut oil for all frying, sauteeing and salads-Walnut oil contains 1.414 g ALA per tablespoon.

Omega-3s: ALA Sources

According to the American Journal of Clinical Nutrition, Dietary Reference Intake levels for ALA have been set at 1.6 g daily for men and 1.1 g for women aged 19 to 50. This is the level at which no deficiency is present. To protect your heart, aim for a higher intake. In studies, ALA intake has ranged from 0.58 g to 2.81 g daily. Walnut oil contains 1.414 g ALA per tablespoon.

Walnut oil is a good source of omega-3 fatty acids. Omega-3s are essential polyunsaturated fats that your body cannot produce; you must obtain them from food. Dr. Frank Sacks, of the Harvard School of Public Health, reports that important functions of omega-3 fatty acids include controlling blood clotting and building cell membranes in the brain. There are three omega-3 fatty acids—alpha-linolenic acid (ALA), docosahexaenoic acid (DHA) and eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA). Walnut oil contains ALA.Omega-3s: ALA Benefits

ALA protects your heart in several ways. According to the Natural Medicines Comprehensive Database, it reduces atherosclerotic plaque in coronary arteries, decreasing risk by 62 percent for every gram of ALA consumed. High dietary intake also decreased risk of a first heart attack by 59 percent in men and women and, in women, reduced risk of heart disease death by 65 percent over 10 years. After a heart attack, ALA decreased risk of a second heart attack and death when eaten as part of a Mediterranean diet low in saturated fat and cholesterol. Dr. Sacks reports ALA also reduces inflammation and protects the heart against rhythm problems that can cause sudden death.

With the brands listed below, make sure they are 100% from the area of scandanavia–and not “aggregated” with alaskan krill oil.

Also check Carlsen oils =some are 100% from the fjords –some are aggregated.

Thank God for that!

“We Don’t Take Orders From Bolton”: US Withdrawal From Syria Begins

Contrary to assurances from Trump’s National Security Advisor, neocon John Bolton, and Secretary of State Mike Pompeo, who suggested earlier this week that US troops would remain in Syria for at least a little while longer, the Associated Press reported on Friday that the US has begun the process of removing the 2,000 soldiers based in northeastern Syria.

Citing information provided by activists with the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, the withdrawal officially began Thursday night local time. A convoy of about 10 armored vehicles and some trucks left the town of Rmeilan into drove into Iraq. Col. Sean Ryan, spokesman for the coalition fighting the Islamic State group, later confirmed that the US has started “the process of our deliberate withdrawal from Syria.”

Finding the best omega 3 supplement: Fish oil reviews

Amber, our resident food and supplement tester of vegan egg fame, took the reins for these tests.

OK, so our interview gave us some criteria to use in separating the fish oil wheat from the fish oil chaff. We know you’re busy, so we went ahead and evaluated some of the top brands on Amazon and gave our analysis in the notes that follow.

Fish oil brand comparison

Nordic Naturals ProOmega-D

This product came on our radar after doing research on the cognitive benefits of fish oil, specifically in those who have suffered from traumatic brain injury. The EPA/DHA

content, as well as overall Omega 3 amounts, mirror the Ultimate Omega product, which we also love, however, the ProOmega-D has been used in clinical settings to treat patients with brain injury. ProOmega-D is considered the “professional version” of Ultimate Omega. You can read the case study of the patient who used ProOmega-D to aid recovery after a serious head injury here. As with all Nordic Naturals products, ProOmega verifies potency, freshness, and purity with a certificate of analysis for each batch and bottle of its fish oil products.

Maya=fish oils–no doubt they are super nutritious–however, the problem is that all the oceans and seas are horribly polluted

Posted by Richard640 @ 10:14 on January 11, 2019

The entire Pacific ocean–including Alaskan waters are highly radioactive causa Fukishima–so avoid anything coming from there including sea salt…the soviet union dumped barrels of nuclear waste into the North sea for over 50 yrs–they have been leaking and splitting open=Fukishima waste is now in the Atlantic–if u must have fish oil, use oils from the scandanavian fjord area–avoid capsules–get. oil in a glass bottle. I like Carlsen brand.

Kicking Horse Pass is in the heart of the Canadian Rockies, on the border of Alberta and British Columbia.  Spectacular mountains… although I’ve never been there.

But the San Juans and Ouray… yep!  This is the view from the summit of Mt. Sneffels looking south into Yankee Boy basin and out across the San Juans.  14,156ft. Conquered in Aug. 1978 by me.

sneffelsprint-copy

Take the Camp Bird Mine road out of Ouray up into the Yankee Boy basin below the mountain.  Base camped at 10,000ft near the end of the valley at the base of the mountain.  Even ‘acclimated’ for a week in high elevations, it was a chore to climb loose boulder talus for several thousand feet up, hoping no one above you knocked loose a rockslide.

Commish re: Krill oil

Posted by Alex Valdor @ 2:25 on January 11, 2019

The claim is that krill are harvested from more pristine Antarctic waters , so are free of many of the pollutants in waters closer to more populated land masses . Many years ago I saw a slide presentation by a work colleague who was from Newfoundland , the Easternmost part of Canada , of a trip back to his native Province . The Grand Banks off Newfoundland are where much of the cod is harvested . One of his slides was of a bucket at a fishing port where they would toss the livers of the cod when cleaning the fish . He said that every couple of weeks someone would come for the contents of the (unrefrigerated) cod liver bucket and that was the source of medicinal cod liver oil . I lost my taste for cod liver oil after seeing that slide.
One of the claims for Krill oil is that there are no cod liver burps after taking it , and I can attest to the truth of that claim , having been a consumer in the past . Another claim which I cannot personally verify , is that the bio-availability of beneficial Omega’s is greater with Krill oil .

Caveat emptor .

P.S. While I was composing the above , Maya made a more concise reply . I agree with his response .

Cod Liver oil?  OMG!  The taste…    Krill oil is better than most fish oils.  Yes, rich in Omegas, and it has a sweet taste & odor.  No more ‘fish burps’.
