Not sure but this could be a “sell the news” situation…the big 3 were. all in the news. today:

1–a China trade rep i flying in this weekend for talks–

2–the FED made some noises about less or no rate hikes in 2019

3–the govvie shutdown reprieve. with serious negociations starting

I may take a pilot short position in SDOW before the close or wait for an opening rally on Monday

As for gold–history says this is a one day wonder…only follow thru next week will invalidate that judgement…
