They are overwhelmed by the influx of Venezuelans .
The people coming across are depressing wages for Colombians , who are very upset to be losing their jobs . Sound familiar ?
In addition , for many months merchants in border towns like Arauca are having their shelves stripped of food and other commodities , forcing the locals to travel many miles further into Colombia to buy staples to survive . The influx across the Arauca bridge makes the ‘Caravan’ at Tijuana look like small potatoes .

Still think there’s a strong chance we get a beat down after the Fed announcement tomorrow, especially if we rally into the meeting.
That being said, it feels like we’re seeing a buildup in strength getting ready for a much bigger move.
