Ipso – believe it or not Bonterra isn’t even close to being one of my biggest losers. Some M & A or just some plain old metals rally should get this stuff moving to the upside. That’s the hope anyway.

Trump says Afghanistan talks ‘proceeding well’

WASHINGTON (Reuters) – Negotiations in Afghanistan are going well, U.S. President Donald Trump said on Wednesday, after U.S. officials earlier this week said there had been significant progress in talks to end 17 years of war in the country.

Talks “are proceeding well,” Trump wrote on Twitter. He did not address any possible peace accord with the Taliban or the presence of U.S. troops in Afghanistan.

On Monday, U.S. special envoy Zalmay Khalilzad told the New York Times that the United States and the insurgent group had sketched the outlines of an eventual peace deal. Analysts, however, said there was no sign that the Taliban had agreed to U.S. demands.

A U.S. State Department spokesman said this week the talks had been “positive” but that no agreement had been reached.

Really hoping this time will be different. I’ve raised some cash in advance of the Fed meeting and statement today, simply because the odds of a nasty selloff are in my favor.

If we do get hammered after the Fed announcement, I have some dry powder to deploy just because I do think that any selloff will be short-lived. I’m thinking 2019 will be a good year for us bugs. Course I thought that for the last 7 years! 🙁

I like the idea of a little weakness in pm’s and strength in the SM this am. We’ll see what happens, especially in the press conference with Jay Powell afterward.

We’ll all be at each other’s throats if this gold rally fails . LOL

So, Ipso posted about a little stock called Skeena last week and I bought a small amount yesterday.

I’m hoping I get to thank him if it goes up, but I guarantee you that I’ll blame him if it goes down! 🙂
