When they had that classmates site for high school there was a link that showed you a map of where the kids from that area live now. How they tracked it I don’t know less they signed up for it but it showed that in the Esquestrain town I lived in most moved to Texas at that time.
But yes those who stayed longer usually moved closer guessing because less traveling time to see relatives.
Can’t see them moving to LA though. There was a mass exodus from LA because of the illegal invasion.
I remember some kid back in 2000 said on that classmates site that he was working on a grocery store as a high school student and got yelled at by a Illegal for not speaking Spanish to her. Then he said she called the Hispanic manager and he yelled at him too. Where do they get off I’m thinking.
Neumetiys stories of the invasion on the site. One said his kid wasn’t learning anything cuz they were speaking Spanish in the schools. White American kids were now the minority. Apt builders were the culprit in a mostly home area and expensive but the kids were suffering like they were paying all that money for their kids to go to third world foreign schools they were paying for.
Private schools were full.

Another said his Hispanic neighbor was throwing dead slaughtered part into his back yard including a donkey head.
That made me wonder when I used to run in the mountains and foot hills and ran across a caucus at night. It was a dead donkey with only the head and part of spinal cord left. Maybe it wasn’t animals. Another time a Hispanic man about in his 30s heavy set, dressed well surprisingly under the circumstances was hiding in wait in the bushes but I heard him plus was warmed by another girl who had one jump out from the bushes so stayed away while running past them, to see him running at me with a two by four in his hands. There were others though who were white but they couldn’t catch me or the other girl. Just helped me improve my speed. That Hispanic was strange because of the way he was dressed. White red striped shirt, slacks, patent leather shoes shined. Hair neatly combed but in the bushes with aboard in his hands.
Many said they went back was worse and glad they left.
