Hi BG, I totally agreed with Hook and you, but the company I mentioned is just a explorer with good results. I bought the company a while ago, after doing some research on rare metal, not on the China news, plus they will probably send the ore to China for processing, same as currently with some lithium companies.I did not bet the farm on this one.
Sometimes picking explorers in early stage pays off , eg picked up ASX:PNA in the 2001 for 5c , copper in Laos, due to political risk it was not on investors radar, reached $4.00 ,eventually before taken over by some large company.
Did I hang onto it , of course not, just not meant to be a millionaire.
Australian stock market is full of gamblers , just look at the volume of small to mid-tier gold companies and the daily volume , just huge compare to US and Canadian gold miners, with population of only about 7% of US+Canada.
This article is a good example of Australian gamblers, so I expect it extends into the stock market.
